Lots of DNFs and no response to needs maintenance request. Perhaps this one needs some admin attention.
Too many ants...husband was covered head to toe...decided to let this one go...lovely views though.
Mate!
Seem to be quite a few DNF's, is your cache still there?
Thanks in advance.

The views were dark, but most of the caches stood out by torchlight.

Too much long grass and suspicious looking holes in the earth for us to continue our search here
A disappointing DNF - I thought this would be easy but couldnt find it. Didnt see many views - was watching very carefully in the long grass for snakes, as it was a hot and sunny day today.
A serious lot of ant's here, white & at least two other types.
Might return in summer when the grass dies. Oh it's summer now!
Might return in summer when the grass dies. Oh it's summer now!
The barbed wire fence here has moss growing on it, never seen that before! Just looking at photos I took while out and about.
Looked in obvious spots but was hung over, tired and wary of snakes so a dnf for us enjoyed the view though! Tfth
Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places.
Until now: Coolum Beach - Kilcoy, Stanthorpe, Byron Bay, Port Macquire, Nelson Bay, Hunter Valley, Wagga Wagga, Beechworth and Melbourne.
After Melbourne we are moving slowly westward and will stop at villages and small towns along the coast.
Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, Warrnambool, Naracoorte, Meningie.
Arrived Victor Harbour on Thursday. Today is the day for searching further away from town for new caches.
Not so good coordinates, bur we found it.

Mr Tardis was out for a quick afternoon caching run with Mini Tardis and one of the Scoobster pups. Mr Tardis found this one after a short search. Some nice views from up here.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache spuddymoore.

Really nice spot, took us a while do as the gps was turning off regularly. Great fun
Found lots of rubbish that looked the right size to be cache containers, but nothing that contained a log book. Will have to return to this one another day.
Quick find. Box being chewed by something.

This is the 2nd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:36:00 AM, but we couldn't locate your cache as we were swarmed with ants, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Busy and dangerous road but cache was still a good easy quick cache! TFTC spuddymore
Amazing views from here, definitely a magical spot. Took a bit of a hunt but got it in the end. As I was signing the log a resident on her mobility scooter scooted past with her dog and yelled out 'did you find it'! Lol, yes I did thanks . Thanks spuddymoore
Nice views and heaps of wind, wow 100 hides that's great.
Geez geocachers go through a heap of peaches, must be the preferred dessert of many, haha.
This is one of our last days of caching before we move away so it is always great to go to some nice local spots that have a great outlook.
Thanks spuddymoore for yet another cache.

What a fantastic view! Many thanks spuddymoore for placing and maintaining a cache here. I would never have come up here except for the caches. We are travelling very slowly towards WA using caching as a guide to find the out of the way places that only locals know about, and this is definitely one of those. Brilliant!! TNLN SL TFTC
Found this one while having based our caravan at the Adare Caravan Park at McCracken near Victor Harbor. A lovely area to cache in. We particularly enjoyed the sea views and its great to see that Spuddymore has been busy since we were here last giving us the chance to get lots of smileys Thanks to spuddymoore for placing this cache.
With the forecast for nice weather today it was time for a visit to the Victor Harbour area to clear away a few of the caches that have populated the area since I used to frequent the town.
I was surprised to see just how many new ones there is
With Astro we set about finding some of these little gems and this was one of them [^]
Cheers & TFTC

Had a few dogs barking telling us that this was not a difficult find - which was true! Quickly signed the log and we were on out way. TFTC.
Parking the campervan was a bit tricky here so Mr Beetle waited in it while I ran across the road and grabbed this one. Managed about a ten second look at the views before the threatening rain and strong winds sent me back to the warmth of the van. Thanks.
Have been around Murray Bridge the last couple of days, and now for day around Victor Harbour. Just finished the AFL series and about to head into town, but a few more here first. Agree with the views.
Thanks spuddymoore for the cache.

[center]8285. [green] I agree with the CO, this is a great spot for a cache. There are some spots that are not deserving of a cache but around here for your 100th hide was a good choice.
And in case I forget to thank you later thanks you for each and every one of your caches that we found. Your efforts around here really helped make our caching trip fun. (Now to generic log the last AFL one - sorry again for that).
Thanks for the cache [blue]spuddymoore[/blue] and the mower.[/green][/center]

Today we make our way back to Victor and after the last 2 failed attempts today we actually make it all the way grabbing quite a few caches along the way, weather was great for us today and still have many more still to find down this way, a nice quick find for us today. TFTC
We are travelling from Wodonga to the Oz Mega. Took a run with Geo junior to grab some early morning caches. We enjoyed the drive and the views along with the many different finds. Congrats on your 100 hides. Thanks for the cache
After struggling with my new GPS yesterday I learnt something else about it and so returned to this area for a few more finds

I've been admiring the views all day, another won't hurt. Will someone shut the damn dogs up! I don't know what te residents of the house across the road think of all the cars stopping near their house, people jumping out then ducking behind the trees.
Thanks for the cache spuddymoore.
Thanks for the cache spuddymoore.
Congrats on your 100+ hides, spuddymoore. I still have quite a few to find yet.
I'm warming up to go to Darwin on Sunday by jumping out and making finds in the evenings after work.
Dogs came and greeted me but decided caching is getting blasé now so soon settled down.

Decided to have a day caching at and around Victor Harbor so Ismartis and I headed down in the morning with a list of caches that we hoped to get. After a great day we ended up with 55 smileys and 3 DNF's with Ismartis grabbing an extra one on the way home. [^] [^]
Stopped here to admire the great views...and oh yes also find a cache.
Thanks for the cache spuddymoore and for bringing me here.

It was a magnificent day worthy of a caching trip, but with Mrs M helping a family friend for the day it was up to Mr M to join CPwanderer and brisal5 for a caching trip to Victor Harbor. It was a very enjoyable day in which brisal5 achieved his 3000 milestone.
The muggle home owner from across the road thought that we may have been picking up drugs. We educated him on all things geocaching and showed him the hide. He was happy to know why people kept stopping in front of his home. I guess this is what happens when you put out caches in front of people's homes. TFTC spuddymoore.

When I got the call that a caching trip to Victor was been planned I quickly booked a seat. So with CP and Mr. M from Aussie M&M we set out in the general direction...southish
On a detour from the AFL premiers series we stopped to get this and immediately got muggled by the dogs across the road who alerted their owner. At one stage I think he was going to join us for the search but was still a bit wary. Now he may become a cacher! QFM was suffering cache blindness or perhaps he was spooked by the muggle and went past it to leave it for me. Thanks spuddymooore,

More beatiful views indeed. Keeping our eyes out for whales but a bit hard to tell from this distance whether we're seeing any or just kidding ourselves!
Found it nice and easy. Great views. Took Ellie the Elephant Travel Tag.

Found during JLWE with Moneydork and Skippy -- I was trying out my new gps. the settings were not sticking and it seems my gps, at this particular cache, wanted me to go deep sea diving on a grain of sand... luckily the guys gpsrs were functioning correctly and we all got a smiley. Thanks spuddymore.
2 unfriendly dogs across the road yapped away as I signed the log and I was happy they were behind the fence. Thanks spuddymoore.
Found with Sully1 on our way to Victor Harbour for a couple of more days in this cache rich state.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks again spuddymore

Found with bogonghazy after Semiks Birthday Event at Normanville and heading to Victor Harbour on the way home. Thanks to SpuddyMoore for the cache.
Found with Maccamob and Team Crackers. Yes, definitely Victor Views from here, thanks.
After another very enjoyable evening celebrating Semik's birthday at the "gonna soak up the sun event" we again joined forces with maccamob and alansee to head out to Victor Harbour grabbing a few caches whilst taking in the great scenery of the area. We pulled up here and headed off to gz where the cache container was located fairly quickly and we took a little bit of time to take in the views before adding our names to the log and replacing the cache.
Thanks spuddymore for the cache.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers and Alansee, at 0930. Lambs tail grasses shaking in the breeze. Getting so warm already, so we were glad of some shade.. Our thanks to spuddymoore.
Arrived at Victor Harbour today set up in the caravan park & now its off to find some caches.
We checked out the views befor finding the cache.

Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Did not even get out of the car as a muggle was working within a couple of metres of GZ.
Cheers, spuddymore.

This was another case of a full on day caching!
I was out with the boys: firesafe, CP Wanderer and Honeysucker and had the luxury of driving a Prado with free diesel for the day, thanks to a friend of mine [^]
Somehow, though, Prado got interpreted as Tarago by our usually extremely competent navigator and so we mainly did urban caches rather than rural ones where the vehicle's potential could have been more full utilised but it was still a hugely fun day and all up I attempted to locus cache at 95 caches: 89 successfully and 6 DNFs
Thank you, gentlemen, for the company and laughs and huge congratulations to firesafe on his 10,000th cache [^] [^] .....which just happened to require a 23km fast run from Aldinga to Mt Compass for the FTF (and our 2nd FTF for the day [^] ). Belated congratulations to Honeysucker, too, for his 6,000th find [^]
Great views, at night, equal pretty lights

Today I teamed up with Honeysucker, Locus Cache and CP Wanderer for a 16 hour caching day caching areas south of Adelaide finishing up in Victor Harbor around 2:30 am.
We hit around 100 caches on the day, even making 2 FTF runs (one in Aberfoyle Park from Hallet Cove and the other at Mt Compass from Aldinga). The second FTF coincided with my 10000 find.
Could see the lights. TFTC.
