In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Hurtle [^]

Parked at the Onkeeta Trail car park and walked in to this one. Forest very quiet today, no birds singing. They are about to start picking grapes across the road. Tftc
Parked up and made the nice walk into to find this one, a short search and the cache was easily found
Today I headed down to McLaren Vale to Strathalbyn via Kuitpo Forest finding the caches in the area consisting of walks and drive bys, total of 45 finds for the days

Yesss! Been here last year and could not find. But found today! Good to see the area recovering! Tftc!
Today the weather was kind between showers for me to walk to GZ to assist the CO by replacing this cache with his permission...
The area is so lovely especially after the refreshing rain...
It was obvious a burn off happened in the area since the cache was last found...
You might need gloves when retrieving the cache...not just for COVID-19 but for the charcoal which will blacken your hands...
Glad this old cache is being kept alive

Went for a walk in the forest for some exercise & fresh air today. The area has had a prescribed burn off since the cache was last found in 2018. After a reasonably extensive search today the cache was nowhere to be seen.
Fire went through I think as possiblility it might no longer be there. Not certain though.
Came to find a different kind of treasure - the fascinating duck orchid. Rewarded with both the large and small species of those and a cache to boot . Thanks
Very enjoyable wander into this one ...... perfect weather for it!!! The trees played havoc with our signal ......................... but we got it!!! A favourite!!!
We were looking for a right turn, but found a forestry car park instead.
Doing a u-turn, we decided that today was a good day for a walk.
Seeing only one other car at the parking area, the place was clear of people.
Took a bit to find the cache as sat loc was a bit stetchy, but CP came-up with the goods.
Thanks for bringing us out here, enjoyed spotting the native flowers

Enjoyed our stroll along the trail to GZ the short walk off track led to discovering two different orchids much to Mrs frogs delight, all good with cache today TFTC Hurtle
I first found this one nearly 11 years ago, as one of my first 100 finds.
Today we are back to check on it whilst in the area.
Removed some rubbish, rusty bottle cap, mangled cards, and placed a new pen.
Logbook has a few pages left, however there is a ton of back pages not written on yet, so just turn book around and gi back the other way...
I forgot a new baggie, so if one if the next finders is kind enough to take one, we would be most grateful.
Thanks and happy geocaching in this area.

Great walk and quick find after spending last night at chookaloo campground with the family. TFTC
i dragged out jacknor to the forest in the rain and we stopped on the way home to get this one
Found during the 11km Onkeeta trail hike - saw 2 deer on our travels - a great days outing - thanks Hurtle for the cache. Signed log and had afternoon tea of cooked noodles nearby
Travelling the area today locating caches whilst buddies were working.
After they finished we noticed this cache come up on our gps.
A great little walk to locate this cache.
Loved the forest area here.

Just driving past and thought a small walk on a beautiful day was just what I needed.
The walking trail turned out to be more interesting than we originally thought - a mixture of pine forest and natural vegetation, the wattle looking glorious and lots of water with frogs. An easy 10km loop for those who are interested. TFTC
sure we'll make it before the rain comes, oops famous last words. oh well we almost did, almost got back to the car only had to run 150mts, anyway great cache in a great part of kuipto. thanks Barryd TNLNSL
Found It!
A nice little walk and a quick find. Always nice to find an old cache to! The forest looks good now with all the young pine trees growing...

A perfect sunny day for the walk to this cache, past the marshy area full of croaking frogs . Not a soul to be seen but lots of trees and a bright blue sky - lovely! Tftc
Quick find on a day out and about with Tardis Trio ticking off some much over due caches.
Well set out and well hidden.

Thank Barryd_SA for the find.

Mr Tardis and Mr Scoobster were in the area today finding a bunch of caches. We parked nearby and rode our mountain bikes up the hill toward GZ. We walked the last 50 metres and found the cache in the first place we looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
It's great to find a nice old cache still going strong.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Barryd_SA.

Was heading out to do some caching in Kuitpo and made the stop on the way.
It was a nice morning for a walk. TFTC.

This tested the legs with the walk but at least we had a path to follow. Thanks for the cache
Found on a fun day of caching with Gemini7 & JJ52.
The walk to this was longer than expected, and the legs were tired on our return.
Enjoyed the area, thanks Barryd SA for the cache.

I wanted to have a find today to fill in a day on my Caching Calender. Still a lot of gaps, but you have to start somewhere.
I was pleased when the 16yo son was happy to get off the couch and come with me.
Couldn't find the track in that I wanted to use, not that I looked too hard. So had a nice hike in.
Lots of places to hide at GZ, and being under tress I wasn't overly confident the iPhone was going to be too accurate.
As I circled at a 10m radius to form a search zone, Tom pointed out a good spot to look. There was something about it that had caught his eye. Good boy! Sure enough there it was.
We enjoyed the walk. We took a frisbee with us to entertain ourselves as we walked.
T pocket knife sheath, L screwdriver.

Back again with rougewatermelon looking for ones I either didn't find or ran out of time for earlier. I am surprised more people don't visit this one. It is a pleasant stroll along the fire-track and into a eucalypti (not pine) forest to GZ. As I broadened my search I saw the the rouge hand it in hand.....again! TFTC
Was going to be the last cache for the day. it was made somewhat easier by previous visitors leaving a nicely defined trail. Found it quickly, much to brisal5s chagrin. TNLNTFTC
This was a nice little walk up the hill from the South .
According to the log book, we're the first to find this in more than 8 months !
Took car. Left pig. SL.
Thanks Barry & Beryl.

Just wandering around this big forest - needs more caches though. Took butterfly, left lizard - thanks for the Cache Barry & Beryl
A nice walk in the large Kuitpo Forest reserve. The third in the re-visit series (now as cacher). Originally visited as "an apprentice" with Turnarounds, Mac&Missus and Lost in space (How do they know) on an introductory caching day. Discovered (but left in place) a TB, took a palm and left a gorilla. Tftc.
Last cache for the day. It's starting to get cold. Time to get the Geo kids in side. TFTC L TB
Becky found it. did this one on a trip out with the maccymaniacs. T- badge L- toothbrush cover & uk coin
I approached from Peters Creek and Knotts Hill Rd intersection which meant I had a very pleasant 2km round trip to GZ. Early morning and in no hurry so it was very peaceful. Only the sound of the wind and the birds singing. Not even the sound of a car. I could have been the only person on the planet. An easy find with the GPSr taking me right to GZ. TFTC
Thoroughly enjoyed this one even though it was really pouring with rain. I covered myself with my best raincoat, popped the hood on and looked down to avoid rain in the eyes. Great area!! Thanks Barry and Beryl!!
After a big arvo of caching it was good to stretch our legs between rain showers.
Took a while to find but geowife found it a short distance from where the gps had us hunting.

Walked in and found tthe cache after a bit of a search.
I was trying not to destroy the environment too much but my GZ was some distance from the cache.
Would have liked to come here when there was a bit more cover around.

I've been meaning to do this one for ages and with the sun shining for the first time in weeks, today was the day. A leisurely walk though what was once dense pine forest but all the trees have been logged, just stumps and blue sky today.

The area really looks different down that they have felled the forest. Fortunately they only took the pine trees and left all the old growth native forest.
There was not much of a Sat Lock with the tree canopy overhead, but allowing for this and looking in a wider area made it an easy find.
I found a comoed screw top SPC container, so the description about a flexible waterproof plastic pouch must be outdated. TFTC.

Enjoyed a late afternoon ride into this one with the geosons. Great location! Thanks Barry and Beryl.
What a lovely peaceful place! We enjoyed the search with Joter and the cache was quickly located. TFTC!
Lovely walk along to the cache, found it - no problem. Excellent hide spot. SL. Thanks Barry and Beryl for organising the cache and hunt.
Found with the ancestrals. We enjoyed blowing bubbles through the forest. Was a warm day for a 2km return walk, though - I've never know this forest to be open to vehicles. Shortest possible trip is 1.5km return I'd say. TNLN (except bubbles) TFTC
Visited with my brother. Like Richlink, we also took the longer walk. But it was a nice day and we saw lots of birds. We saw other cachers in the distance walking back to their car (along the shorter route!) as we approached GZ. TNLN. TFTC Barry & Beryl
Found with Racing Stripes, Bek-theraccoon and MayGrape on our uber NYE caching camp. Really opens your eyes to forestry seeing the land after felling.
The cache wasn't a pouch like we were looking for.
Took spoons and creepy gorilla and left bracelet.

A good walk to gz but rather bare with all the trees gone. Cache found after a short search and happily the showers appeared to have blown over.
Wasn't a short walk for us. TomTom had us at a carpark but it was a 2 klm return walk to GZ. When we neared GZ we noticed another car park around 300 mts away - doh! Well, we earned our 1500th find

Found on a day out with Mac & Missus and Lost in Space, as well as introducing a few others to caching. The main trick is to work out which tracks on the GPS are closed forest tracks. So a walk was needed.
Took horse, left pooh bear.
Thanks Barryd SA
