Since the CO hasn't logged on since October last year and the cache has been moved and resurrected by NormyCrew http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0aa25584-6d13-42bd-8282-75f374de41b9 elsewhere (see logs over the last 12 months), we think it's time for this one to be put to bed permanently [xx(].

Hi everyone geocaching down in Normanville. I am going to report this one as 'needs archived' as I still havent heard from the owners so they can alter their coordinates for the new location of it (as the old hide fell down and has been removed by council). So.... I am going to now put up a new cache with the new coordinates and call it 'An Ode to Hypnophobia' and utilitise the old cache box.
Found with the help of son-in-law and daughter under the magic tree carpet!!! Took out fox studios Australia keyring, left a Batman 3D disc.
Quick find on our way to a nice Brekkie in Normanville. Thank you for the modified coordinates.

Tried, but also think it may be under the tree. A couple of days cacheing down south after our Bali trip - enjoyed the green countryside and beautiful coastal views. TFTC
I am guessing this is not a good Cache to look for at the moment. Refer to the pic in the previous post.
Gave up on this one as there was a carpet which I think was a bit thicker than intended.
May need to check the fallen tree as I assume it is hiding the cache.
Thanks for the day out none the less and we will return.

Oh dear... we saw CheshireKats and waved to them on our way past from school (but I think we should have stopped.. my son would not allow me to!) Sorry about the connection with the electrics, but the cache was closer to your wife than the other side of the fence. I checked the coord on my way to school this morning and I am out slightly..... my apologies

I think this cache may be in trouble. Arrived at GZ to find a large tree had fallen over where my GPSr said GZ was. Had a bit of a look to see if I could spot it but to many branches and leaves. I think this one needs checking out.
Geoson noticed the totally exposed cache on the way to school this morning. The tree it was under had blown completely over in the last vicious winds, so before the council come along and cut the tree up into tiny pieces, I picked the box up on way home. This area now has many houses across the road, making it muggle heaven, so will email Team Galaxy with new co.ords (just down or up the road) later today when the contents of the cache dries out.
Found with Mooshell just on dark. Signed log while a dog was washing my tires. TFTC. TNLN. SL.
Had to wait for the local residents (the human ones!) to get in their cars and drive away before I could look for this one.

About time I caught up logging finds. Down for a longish weekend. A nice day to go geocaching Thanks
We wondered what locals must think about cars pulling up here?? Didnt see any cows but then again we were more concerned about the local mugglers LOL...the drive to the cache had me amazed at the housing that was for sale...just a tad extravagant and really unnecessary...oh well...thats just me i guess.
I placed a new note book in the cache...went to log my visit in the other one but couldnt find any room...so did my good deed for the day.

Decided to take a driving break on the way back to Adelaide. So found a close by cache to try. Parked across the road and made friends with two dogs...who felt they knew me enough to both pee on my car tires after I crossed the road to search. This was not an easy find...and I felt lucky to make the find. Took me a while to strike plastic amongst the pines.

1st find of the day and 1851st total find at 09:50.
It's not often that we get to go caching this far from home, but as we are both very fortunate to have a couple of weeks off - - -. By good planning or design this cache was on our list.
Finally got this one, we've been past here many times, but there always seemed that there was a muggle watching from over the road
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing (Screwdriver wouldn't fit)
Thanks Team Galaxy Quest for the cache.

Emmacache wasnt with us last time we found it... so this time it was her turn and she was happy to finally find it.... until NormyCrew Junior yelled "hurry up Em here comes a HUGE dog to get us!" all she wrote in the log was 'N' because she thought an angry dog was after her...... Em popped the cache back just in time to get out and run..... until she saw the HUGE dog...... a maltese terrier!
She does say TFTC.... I just wont take 'him' with me next time!

Nice eazy find but man across the road mowing his lawn. Perhaps it was for the cows. TFTC
Found the cache while geocaching with Team Waldron. Armed with a four wheel drive, four GPS units and a laptop, we had a great day searching up and down the southern coast. This cache was an easy find which was nice. Thanks for arranging the cache!
This is an old cache we had somehow missed the last few times we had been down this way? Easy find. No swaps
Can't fathom out how this one took us so long to find! Left Firesafe pathtag. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
Made a quick detour off the main road to sign the log. Thanks!

Found at 2:15 PM. Parking is a bit scary but the cache is in a secluded position making the 'lifting of the rug' less obvious to the muggles living across the road.

Interesting spot, GPS took us past Links Lady Bay, very impressive.
Had some first-timers in tow so added to the thrill of the chase on this one.
TB is pretty good too, so took it.

It had been drizzly to now and at about the time that I got to this cache the rain started to set in. At least it wasn't cold, Thanks to Team Galaxy Quest for the cache.

An easy find at the end of the day. There were no mugles about but the local cows were super interested in what I was doing.

Final stop on the way to Second Valley for a cyclogaine (4 hour mountain bike event where you look for controls in the bush - similar to orienteering except that you decide which, and how many, controls to visit and in what order). Meet up with the friendly locals who dropped in to see what I was doing. Passing a few TB's through also. TFTC.
No animals except a monkey way up the tree. j jnr decided it was an excellent climbing tree! tftc
Found the cache at 1.20pm Accompanied with Lava12 and Joan for the day. We enjoyed drive the car along to South/West... No swap. SL. Thanks Team Galaxy Quest for organising the cache and hunt.
Accompanied with Everlasting. Our friend Joan joined us for the day. Found it easy. Did not see any cows or sheep. Thanks for the cache.
I have no idea why I couldn't find this last time. I'm sure I looked there before. This time it was just walk up and grab it from the most likely place. Thanks Galaxy Quest, one of the old-timers from the caching weekend in Normanville years ago.

We must have been lucky with this one! Pulled up in the car, got out, recovered and replaced the cache and were on our way within ten minutes. Only problem were the ‘poke-in-the eye’ sticks.
Got the ‘swept under the rug/carpet’ connection but didn’t understand why one should be afraid of going to sleep here.
No cows or huntsmen today.

Found while holidaying at a house only 250 metres away. Awesome golf course with magnificent views of the ocean. This was a simple drive-by once the GPS settled down. Took Bouncy Ball, left Soldier dude. Thanks.
Mrs S hopped out to get this one. Quick find, not buried at all. It did however have an occupant in the plastic bag. A great big huntsman spider. Now Mrs S is not bothered by spiders usually but this one was very large and rather unexpected. The first wildlife we encountered today.

Third find!
Just using a Satnav so was a little out the first place I looked, so hopped back into car and drove away and came back and it was more accurate the second time. Although others said in the log that the coordinates were a little incorrect!

No luck with this one. No bulls to be bothered by, but some muggles enjoying the weather in their garden kind of made searching a little difficult.
I searched around and in the tree for quite a while with no luck. Eventually the bull came down to express his annoyance at my presence so after another few circuits I reluctantly headed on.
