When we researched this cache before leaving Tassie for our current trip, this cache was still active. Today we went to this location and after a short hunt, the cache was located. Although the lid of the cache container was broken, the hide ensured that the contents were dry. It is a pity that this cache has been archived as it brings people to a very interesting bridge. Now that the existence of the cache has been confirmed, it is hoped that the cache is reinstated. Thanks for the cache Rav 4 Raiders.
This was the day, with geodaughter it was a quick find after previous DNFs . TFtC nicely hidden
FINALLY!! And so simple!!! All this newfound upper body strength is coming in handy (take up yoga! Wonderful invention).

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
After camping last night in Burra Creek Gorge we were supposed to stay another few nights and tour into Burra but somehow the plans changed and whilst Mr Felix went off on a lengthy walk to find a cache Mrs Felix packed the caravan to move to town!
So now we are set up in Burra with phone and internet! It was then into town to stock up on essential supplies Gas and Alcohol. Managed to grab a few town caches here too. What a lovely historical town this is.

As I wandered across the Meccano Set I was amazed at the simplicity of its construction and how 'lightweight' the arches looked
"How on Earth does this olde bridge not collapse under the weight of a modern day semi ? [:o]
There were no load limit signs to be seen !!
A look underneath revealed the hidden secret .... and a cache too
TFTC, and a great bit of engineering history, both old and new [^]
PS: The cache could do with a new container !!

Interesting to read the log by youngnils on the same day as I visited, when I stepped on to the moist clay my both feet shot forward and I landed heavy on my tail and my clothing was covered in red mud.
At 75 I am not so nimble on my feet when in that position. However after that setback I managed to locate the Cache which was rather wet. Maybe a caution could be added for days when the ground is wet.

Out geocaching with children who have now decided they are monkeys after climbing up to find geocache. Needs a new container etc. TFTC
Took some looking but eventually Geofriend found GC.
Thanks for the GC.

Once we arrived in Burra we had a Pastie then booked into hotel. Went for a walk up the street to tourist info centre. Once finished there looked to see what was nearby. This was within walking distance. Took Nothing Left nothing. Slgned Log
Found with John Ray Deb Anne Sue We were clamering all over the place until John made the find.
I asked Geo Hubby Dave to accompany me after i decoded the hint, although it was lower than i thought & hubby had in in hand with dirty big red back spider sitting firmly on the cache, all i could do was yell drop it drop it & he did. Sorry to say we put red back in a persistant coma but beware for futher finds. Thanks for the quick cache on our way back from Broken Hill to Macclesfield
A quick find after a spot of lunch in this nice historic town. Thanks Rav $ Raiders.
Found on a long weekend caching in Burra with geohubby - nice easy find which surprised us but couldn't sign the log as it was full! Tftc
Darknstormy and i wanted to head out for a big caching, photography and sight seeing day while staying in Morgan for the weekend and this one was found in our travels We have visited this place before a long time ago and we were muggled out but today we were muggle free and quickly made the find to out surprise, Darknstormy was getting himself into position and stumbled upon the cache Thanks Rav 4 Raiders
Miss GG and I wanted to make the most of this beautiful weather, so we put some caches on the GPS and set off for a day of caching, sight seeing and photography.
We clocked up some KM's and saw some great sights, took some nice photos and had a good laugh..
Sorry for the generic log, we tried to add little notes for them all, but some times you just forget.
We had been to this location before but a lot of muggles hindered our search so we decided to pull the pin.. But today it pretty much fell in our hands
Thanks for the cache The Rav 4 Raiders

We suspect this one may not be a low level terrain or difficulty. We could nit find it although time was limited by rain coming soon. Previous logs show it may be a bit harder than 1.5 terrain.
Found this relatively easily. Thank goodness for Mollypix's height. I don't think I could have scrambled to get it. TFTC
Couldn't attempt to find the cache due to a group of muggles hiding under the bridge getting up to no good while it was raining. Cough cough...
myselof and a freind both over 6ft tall looked for a long while and couldnt see any sign of it, suggest maybe lowering it?
No sign of it but after reading the logs maybe we should be looking up rather than down. Will try again next trip
found it after my geo son tried in the same spot had to look for myself Bingo there tis' TNLN SL TFTC
On our way to mildura for sons basketball carnival. Glad I had him coz would never have reached it.

This was a big day starting at 7:00 am and going through to 4:30 am on Sunday morning. A group of us headed north for the Pub Lunch in the Sticks, caching our way up and back with 65 finds for the day.
Managed to get with some gymnastic moves. TFTC.

Looked all over to no avail. Geo-wife lost interest when she slipped arse-over on slippery clay so my capable offsider was gone. Anyway, if you have to climb anything, we older folks are out. Should have read the logs first.
Came to Burra for a day trip. Got the key for the Heritage Trail.
Didn't see it but whilst clambering around put my hand on it. What a piece of fortuitous fortune!

Had a couple of visits to look for this. The first visit on NYE ended with Charlie dropping and breaking his GPS. Came back again in the morning and found it with a joint family effort - Grammy saw it and Fi lifted Charlie up so that he could retrieve it. TFTC
Reach up?? Maybe if you are Aaron Sandilands (Dockers) or have a ladder in your cache kit you could reach up. How the last cacher managed to get it right up there I don't know. Mrs M spotted it but Mr M had to climb while Mrs M watched and hoped he didn't fall - again. Too difficult for a terrain rating of 1 which is wheelchair accessible. Should be a higher rating as it currently is. Lovely bridge, enjoyed lunch and a snooze in the park. TFTC.
After spending the night in Redlands Conservation park we drove into Burra to grab some lunch before continuing on ouur trip. We parked nearby this cache and after a very quick search had it in hand and the log signed. Thanks for the hide.
Found this while we were travelling through to Ayers Rock. My only regret is that the butcher wasn't open as my neighbour reckons the salt bush mutton is to die for here in this town.
Loved the town with the history The caravan park is very nice
The school must be visited as well.

We had parked in a nice shady spot to have lunch. I checked the GPS again to find that the next cache was less than 100m away and the name gave a pretty good indication of where it would be. So I set off for a quick find while Mrs.R assembled the sandwiches. I looked in all the likely spots and then the unlikely spots but no cache. I then caught a lucky reflection and found the cache lying among some litter on the ground - presumably fallen rather than muggled. I signed the log and replaced it, hopefully in it's intended location. I would suggest that the description needs to be updated re the container. TFTC.
It smelt suspiciously like pot at GZ. Could have had something to do with the large number of school kids we'd just seen hanging around the park.. It took a few mins of searching as we hadn't read that the cache was no longer a shoe tin. Tftc!
The three of us were on a road trip up to the Flinders Rangers, and we stopped here for a leg stretch. Mr Tardis made the find with Toddler Tardis. A lovely old bridge.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Rav 4 Raiders.

On the way to a wedding in the Northern Territory is the perfect opportunity to go for caches in three states in one day.
Last cache in the dark after dinner... found nice and quickly, signed after a bit of a scramble. Off to bed in the pub nearby.

Thanks Acko

Lovely little spot.
Since I couldn't use my motorbike this weekend to come away with one of our bike clubs, because muggle partner's Triumph broke down (again), and we are in the car: he had to stop so that I could locus cache!
I had looked here before, very quickly, on a ride day once and consequently caused havoc with group on a very hot day. Today we could take our time
I had to get muggle partner to do the deed as he is much taller than me.

Found by B2 after we all searched for a bit!
While camping at Red Banks, thought we should do a few local caches!

The only things we did find when searching for this cache was a snake skin, a black spider & then a red back spider. Ok, thats enough for today, I dont have my gloves on; lets move on!
Geodaughters both searching in, out, above scratching their heads, then we find Geodad sitting then came out with a smart remark saying he had found this one not for the Vertically challenged, great hide had us baffled for a while. Geomum figured out the hint after the find. TFTC
Hello All,
I haven't heard from RAV 4 Raiders who own this cache but I replace it years ago with a Magnetic Key Case at the coordinates. Will get up there soon to replace the log.

No joy with this one, searched everywhere but we couldn't find it, unusual old bridge. Thanks.
Our first find for the day on a quite Saturday morning. Its Burra show day so hopefully all the muggles will be occupied with other matters. SL TFTC
Interesting bridge. Had to have a couple of tries to find this one. It's no longer a shoe polish tin and is most definitely not one for the vertically challenged. In fact, I needed a leg-up to get there. Thanks to the Burton Boys (who we met at another cache) for giving us the extra clue needed to make a successful find.
