Today, I headed solo out for a combination of driveby and hiking geocaching, in an attempt to clear some of the Kuitpo area geocaches. It was a splendid day to be outside with a blue sky, sunshine, and freshness, so one didn't get too hot. Christmas Rush Mine was a great area to walk around, and an unexpected sight. Some more walks around Jupiter Creek Forest, before taking a detour past a few Mount Bold Reservoir viewing spots. An enjoyable bakery lunch was had at Meadows, and then I headed south through Prospect Hill, and partially completed a section of the January OTD series before it started going dark. A twisted ankle had me slow down in the late afternoon, but otherwise a nice day out.
I noted that although this cache had been archived, it sounded like from recent past finders, the cache container was still available to be found. It was a massive stump that was remaining at GZ. Unfortunately this location was where I had my massive ankle twist/sprain. As I was walking around the stump, I had walked into a minor depression/pothole, and hence my RHS ankle twisted up. After lieing in pain for five minutes, the pain subsided enough for me to walk around the stump and find the old cache. At least I don't think it was broken. The cache container is brittle and full of water, and the logbook was completely saturated, which meant signing the logbook was pretty difficult. Thanks broken_hamish for the cache placement.

As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Found this one previously as a muggle when on an introductory caching venture with friends. This time was able to log it. From memory it was in rather than out last time. TFTC.

Found this cache on our way from Poltalloch Station to Normanville. I did not notice that the cache was disabled, but it was a quick one. The logbook looks a little bit mud dipped, but it's dry and useable.

Originally found on Aug. 13 but missed logging. Passed by again today & checked to find cover neatly stacked in place BUT no container; presume mugger has been back & been smart.
Nice day for a bike ride around the forest looking for caches!
Good find in a nice part of the bush!
The cache was previously found by muggles & the swaps & log book were everywhere! We gathered everything up & made sure it was well hidden out of view this time. All good now!

Witnessed two cars almost have an accident while I was at this corner. If you're driving along these roads, SLOW DOWN, especially at corners. Idiots. Probably not cachers.
It's great when Mother nature provides a hide of this size. geoD made the easy find.

By the time we got here I was thoroughly confused and let the boys go find the cache while I stayed in the car. I got to sign the log book as usual and noticed a nice note from a muggle who had apparently found it at some time.
Thank you for the journey (although I must admit I had to wait to get home and study a map to know where I was at that point).

Found the cache at 4.15pm. True which way!!! even which way to pick up the cache hee! SL. Thanks broken_hamish for organising the cache and hunt.
There really are no give way signs here! Great scenery but it's hillbilly country all right...was getting nervous all alone but went straight through it, I mean to it. TNLN thanks for an excellent cache.
Found with Racing Stripes and Bek-theraccoon on our uber NYE caching camp. Sure is a nice intersection - who gives way to whom? And indeed I did require a short time to sort out Which Yay we needed to go to the next cache.
As Justcameron said. We got to this intersection and it was really a cache of 'which way do I go?'. TFTC!
The location of this cache is quite something. In keeping with the cache, upon arrval at the cache location, RacingStripes said "Which way?" - hehe
Thanks for taking us here

Found with Carly 90. yeah, which way? the WRONG one apparently. Deciding it was only 100 metres, seemingly into bushland, we stopped (very close to Yakady Yak and again, being scouts, decided to Bush Bash. This was a bad idea. We ended up at a massive intersection, and had to walk all the way back to the car after finding. Bring a map next time silly Scouts. Also saw a muggle driving around in a Magna, apparently lost. Attempted to help her, but the road she was looking for didnt appear to exist on any maps we had available.
Nice Cache, bit worried about Snakes inside big logs like this, but Carly bravely retrieved the cache.
Cheers~! TNLN

Great spot for a cache. The log book was full so left a spare notepad I had with me.
This is pretty public. Get some interesting lookes from passers-by.

A nice hide in God's own country...when it's not being ravaged by fire that is. Cool little spot and second to last for the day. Cheers

Which way is right. We could be the navigators team Stinjali is hinting at?????? Great fun. All three times! Thanks.
Great cache for our 4yo cacher who loved scurrying around for the cache.
Found easily on a day of caching in the area. Little did we know at the time that we would pass through the same intersection several time more during the day... delibrate or not... I'm not sure, ask the navigators . TNLNSL Thanks broken_hamish
Beat TeamIJK to this one - even though I was the one driving and I had to make sure it didn't roll down the hill.
It was a race to the obvious hinding spot from the car... came in second.... TNLNSL TFTC

As we were flying blind, and following the Great Skippy and SA_Parrothead, due to not having waypoints pre loaded into the GPS, we can claim the find. Picked up the Cricket Willow TB, as it does not want to be left here for too long.
We had never been in this are before, so thanks for the cache.

No problems we managed to enter or exit all but one of the roads at this intersection.
Finally worked out were we were going.
Left the Cricket bat TB here.
But don’t worry he got moved on straight away

Part of a Fleurieu Peninsula caching trip.
There were muggles on trail bikes contemplating which way? at GZ for ages, but fortunately just out of view.
Took a frog, left a dianosaur.
There is a big bug in the cache, maybe someone could take it to Kyeema Frogs, just up the road, the frogs must be getting hungry.

very easy... kggy did a little 4wding on the moundy track opposite the cache. Took Nailbrush, Left Voogoofish Badge SL. cheers
Came in one way and out another. Easy find, but quite a lot of traffic going pass, so we had to look inconspicuous, so pulled out the camera. TNLNSL.

An easy find, we just followed the GPS and there it was.
We took a toy motorbike for our eldest grandy, Max, and put in a flying beetle thing.

Fourth of eighteen finds on my last night in Adelaide, in the company of Freddo and Skippy&Lambchops. This one was a bit tricky. Skippy and I checked out the obvious place, to no avail. We checked other, less obvious places, but still no cigar. Freddo advised us to look harder, and we finally nabbed it at 1920. Thanks to broken_hamish for the cache.

Saw some excellent old cottages coming up from Bull Creek. We really envy the people who are lucky enough to live out here in areas such as this. GPS was playing up a bit and sent us 130m up the road, had to walk back to the cache after it settled down. Took a cow, left a gorilla. Thanks broken_hamish.
The huge stump, didn't stump us!
Last for the day, 5.40pm and the sun is over the yard arm. Lead can hear a port calling.

Found by Mary & David at 1220. Plenty of routes to choose for arrival, but we'd better have some lunch soon, so departure options are more limited. Took fridge magnet, left combination suitcase lock. Our thanks to Broken Hamish.
How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
Six I think I counted.
