We have decided to archive this as work has been done around the area and the cache is no more.

We called into have a quick look for this cache and as CPWanderer found that it may have been buried during the mounding up of the ground along the fenceline etc. Took some pictures of some nice planes for geoson while we went past.

No luck for us today on this one... Part of the GZ has clearly been mounded up to deal with recent rains.... hope the cache hasnt been buried in the piles along the fence.

Nice easy find, plenty of activity happening in this area today. As we headed off to Middleton we seen a parachuter walking towards airport with his parachute slung over his shoulder, obviously didnt land on target, better luck next time. TFTC

Who'd have thought there'd be an airport of sorts there.

Another nice and easy cache on our southern geocaching adventure. Very quiet here today. Nice hide! It was nice to grab another of your caches too, We remember seeing your little bears when we first started caching 4 years ago. TFTC

I have found a lot of caches around airfields in my time and they are always a bit of fun.
No trouble parking around here as the dirt road well deserted this moprning.

Too windy for the aeroplanes today but still saw some taxiing around. Wind had blown much of the natural camouflage away so we restocked the hiding place.

I always enjoy taking SNP to locations involving aero-stuff, because he always enjoys it. We were fortunate to see an old plane take off today.

Super fast find on a cloudy overcast day. No aircraft today, Just a couple of boy racers using the runway for speed! Wife was working today, so this was found by myself only.

Saw one of the old warbirds but it covered up - no flying today. Kept going up the road and spotted a dead kangaroo at the edge of the road and guess where it was - just by the cache.

A quick grab and sign, leaving the GeoDog in the car because I am sure she would have just loved to have rolled around in the roo.

Found quickly on Australia Day on a round trip from Northern Adelaide to Goolwa and back. Beautiful day and lots of great things seen. TFTC.

Mr O had the pleasure of taking one of the Warbird flights a few years ago so the area was familiar as we approached. No air or car traffic today, and Mrs O had the cache in hand soon after leaving the car. TFTC.

Found this one while spending an enjoyable Easter weekend in Goolwa. After watching these guys in the skys over the past couple of days the boys were excited to see them up close on the ground at the end of the day.

We had visited this previously with a geocacher but before we were registered, so this time it's official. It was where we remembered it - that's a good thing! No planes in the air, only on the ground.

There were no planes flying in the late afternoon but we still managed to get some great photos of the old warplanes on the ground. A quick easy find (just how we like them).

We left the TBG geocoin as it likes to visit "arty" places and we thought dogfighting with these magnificent old warplanes would be like an aerial ballet.

Found at 1230hrs after taking some photos at “Guardian of the Pastâ€, what an eerie place. Magnificent Men was an easy find as the container was obvious as it was clear. We then did a quick camo job with tape so it won’t be so obvious. Great hiding spot. No planes flying today although they were out of their hangar. Took nothing left blue soft tiger SL Thanks Klem’s Mob for the cache.
