Don't you just hate that! You would think they could have done their environmental impact study a bit more diligently. If they had they would have made allowances for the cache.
Unfortunately have to archive this one as a new housing estate has inconsiderately been plonked on top of it
Just clearing up the maintenance flag as it annoys me seeing it on the list, lol
Unable to look as a new housing development is under construction and the whole area has been fenced off.
UTL Unable to Look! As far as we could tell the entire area has been fenced off for works. Lots of equipment in there too.
NOT MUCH GREEN LEFT,,A BIT OF OFF ROAD BASHING,The carpetbaggers strike again (pedromessy, netdrifter, elvis)

Found it in the rain. Geokid walked straight to it while we were sheltering from the rain. Second find for him. Left a kangaroo key ring and took a green key tag. Second find of the day with the grandparents. Nice to find some in suburbia. Heading back to Perth this afternoon.
After working on the fire crew at Mallala Motorsport Park for the HQ Enduro, I was at a loose end with an empty house at home - perfect excuse for night caching.
Saw the big fence as I came off Main North Road and expected this one would be gone but was pleasantly surprised it is not in the development area. TFTC.

Well the geokid and geofiance were tooooooo lazy to get out of the car, so I walked to the cache myself. SL TN and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you to The Wackys.... I want to drive one of those BIG trucks too.
Our first find today after we felt guilty driving up the street as it is closed due to the new buildings.
Took nothing, thankyou.

Found the cache at 5pm on the home from the event. No swap. SL. Thanks The Wackys for organising the cache and hunt.
Walk toward the cache with Lava12, Joan, Crank1. Very dry around here.
Found it nice and easy.

I could not find this one, even after two attempts! However, I did manage to find plenty of cobwebs on a tree. Does this mean I am in the wrong place?
Accompanied with Alchemy2 (QLD), Crank1 (VIC) and Joan. We enjoyed our walk towards the cache. Found it nice and easy.
Thanks The Wackys for the cache.

Found this after a few detours due to road closures. Took a green pen and left a yellow squishy ball. TFTC
Number 50 for use and thought that green and gold was appropriate. cheers for a lovely location with some motorbikes going around kids loved it. cheers Took Jag TB Left Gecko
When on a walk from Craigmore Rd and this reasonably easily with son, aussie-icon. I had parked car on the reserve near the gated bridge and when we headed back saw the Boys in Blue were chatting to my daughter who had stayed behind reading her book. Luckily she eventually mentioned geocaching and the cop knew what it is, so they left before we got back. LOL. Left Jag TB - its green. TFTC.
Ended up doing a lot of " Unnecessary Bush Bashing " for this one. Took the geo-commodore off-road down a motorbike track after hesitantly crossing a dry creek. Found a shorter way out again, but I suspect I had only millimeters to spare in ground clearance. I seem to be going off-road way too much these days....need a 4WD. TNLN, TFTC.
GZ had me in a small clearing with a choice of 3 bushes/trees to choose from. Found it closeby in the open with contents scattered. Put it all back and hid it a bit better (under dead branch within 4m of GZ) - but may need to be re-visited and hidden in its correct place.
Nothing in theme so just signed log.

out in no mans land,a night run again its the best 4 me.out in the open (easy find) thanks.
Found after a long walk thanks to not being able to get parking close by! A nice view that is unfortunately being wrecked by a certain housing development company throwing up yet another shoebox village - it might be an idea to move or pick up this cache in the near future before the 'dozers run over it. Cleverly hidden. TLNLNSL TFTC.
Rocky Glen Grommets found this after a bit of a hunt - coords weren't exactly right but when I found the spot, it was easy to see. The Rocky Glen Groms would enjoy the tracks here for their bikes and motorbikes - the fields were green and gold (with soursobs!!!). Left a green Coolman product and took a pencil sharpener.
I don't like to log DNF's but there were toys on the ground at GZ so l'm not sure if it's been muggled or simply a DNF. will try again another day

I was out doing a maintenance check on a nearby cache, and went just a bit further down the road to get this one . It's been in my close to work list for too long - I drove by around September, and it was lush green and gold then. Unfortunately it's now more "Fields of Brown and Pale Yellow". Easy find after a short walk though the hot dust.
As I came out a couple of kids were setting up to ride their motorbike round the track, and asked if I was there to put up houses on their track!? I assured them that I had no such intentions .
Took: earplugs
Left: tape measure
Thanks Wackys!

Found by Mary & David at 1150. At least all the bike riders were at work or school today. Fields were golden with grain but looked so dry. We love your stories about what the boys are up to. TNLN. Our thanks to The Wackys.
Found this afternoon after a short walk. Thanks guys Cory can tick off the cache with a colour in its name for the kids caching game. SLTN
Found whilst trying to dodge dirt bike and off road vehicles on our way to Gawler for an afternoon of caching with Chizbeki. TNLNSL. TFTC Wackys.
After a long strole through the bushes we found it with ease. Thanks. TNLNSL
found this one pretty quickly after a bit of a walk, just had to dodge the muggle on a bike. Cheers. MODU.
Road works, road works, road works and more road works! Couldn't get any closer than about 500m on any road not occupied by tractors, graders, diggers and the like, and wasn't about to walk in there!
Yeah, have been wanting to do this one for a while. Plently of green, not much gold yet. It was muddy and fun in the little wanna be a big 4WD.
Cheers and thanks for the cache

A very busy place on a weekend! had to dodge the motorbikes going past and pretend to be interested on the way to and from the cache. TNLN TFTC
A peaceful stroll through the mud this morning
From the trails in here peace would be a rare thing on a weekend [:o]
Thanks for the cache and boot caking fun. The nicely flowing boot washing facility next to the car was very thoughtful [^]

After circling the area in the car, walking accross muddy country and avoiding the nut on the motorbike, we finally found it! Took cards, left something, signed log. TFTC
The fields were green with soursobs today - and wet ones at that! Ended up with rather wet shoes! Took geocoin, L yellow sharpener. TFTC
Stomped across the very muddy fields to locate the cache. Dropped off Nielsenc Geocoin. Thanks for the cache Wackys.

Fields of brown today! I'd love to see it looking like the photo. It was obviously getting late in the day [|)] because we nearly called it as a DNF until SNP looked where I thought I had already looked and found the red cache 'blending' in with it's surrounds .
It's a pity that a lot of junk gets dumped here because it's a good spot.
Thanks for another Wacky cache.

With the dust on the geomobile (aka car) the colour of the field was a perfect match too. Nice springtime pic you guys took. Certainly a fair difference to today's scene. TFTC
Surprising to see an area such as this still!

Hope your seeking is muggle free!

Found quickly by Chookster. Nice walk to the cache and had to dodge a few motorbikes using the tracks around here. No yellow and green fields here today - actually it was quite brown. Took Sideshow Bob and left yellow army dude.
Found in the evening in the company of Gum-Ren and Pippa. We may have won the first three Tests of the Ashes, but today it was brown and tan! TNLNSL Thanks Wackys
Used the listed coords, not the ones below. Found it spot on. Thanks for the hide. This place really is a mess!
No green and gold today, just brown brown brown.....
Nice walk in dodging the empty oil cans and babyseats...
Found easily, in about the 3rd spot. Have included some co-ords that might help, or maybe they won't!
TNLNSL
Thanks Wackys
Grabbed the coin too.

Got caught out by the photo of the car
Trusted GPS but yet again got beaten to it by the Geo-german shepard who is really starting to annoy me.
At first I thought she was clever, now she is getting to big for her boots. LOL
Dropped off skinguy geocoin that has some gold in it.
Took the travelbug bear hopefully to find him some music.
Cheers.

Quick find after lunch. It had to be in one of those spots. The fields are not so green now. Gold is gone too.
Went to check on the cache and found it in good order - thanks gr8cherokee - since their log, a muggle has also written a complimentary note and left a Garfield
Up to about #5 at this point - making really good time. Walked in from the dirt road.
Thanks - never been in here before.
Thanks - never been in here before.
Very easy to find as the previous finder hadn't put much cover. This is no real surprise as they where not a cacher. The muggle who found it liked the idea so much that he left a garfield figurine.

Drove over a large bump and sent the girls in with the GPS, after some circling, DR.E located it with a sytemmatic search. TFTC!
We hunted around GZ for a good 15 - 20 minutes before we found the log book 20m away the on a wider search area the cache was found emptied out under a tree 40m from GZ.
Everything was collected up and replaced in the cache container and replaced back at GZ.

Nice themed cache and the fields of green and gold certainly are beautiful this time of year. I’m saddened by how quickly they (and the whole countryside) will turn to ‘DEAD’ within about two days of summer arriving.
Like everyone, I found the cache about 16m from the coords. If you are interested, I have posted a revised set with 4m EPE, but it’s not a difficult find – There are limited places that it could be hidden [^]
Left an emergency resus mask (it’s green ) and a TFTC card, and grabbed the CITO coin. What’s that WHITE sheep doing in there??? . Thanks Wackys

Managed to get within about 5m with the new co-ords. Must have parked just right as I thought I could see a likely spot before I got out.. Luck-eee.
Can almost see one of my caches locales from here.
Took a skipping rope, left a sheep.
Cheers Wackys.

Stopped by today to drop off a geocoin.
Which was just an excuse to cross the ditch we didnt attempt the other day.
No problem so came back that way as well.

We could have gotten away quicker if Barra had been willing to cross the ditch in the AWD. I was keen, hey it wasnt my car.
Great fun driving in and out. I hope the bike on the back of the car survived the journey.
Nice to beat Barra to a find at least we finished today 1 all.
Nice to find a bit of dirt. It all bitumen around here now.
I found the cache at 34 40.711 138 42.238
There wasnt too many places it could be so it was no big deal.

As suspected, the cloud cover made the original coordinates a wee bit goofy. Having now had two clear days to check them and some input from a few super speedy cachers, I have deduced by the law of averages that the new coordinates should bring you much closer to the mark. Thanks guys and have fun!
First to log, but not first to find. Found that I could make this a drive by, cool. Got to GZ, but the GZ of the cache is 15 metres that way - .
A quick log, and placed it back, then tried to get out another way, nope, track back the way we came in.
Cheers from the Barramundi's

2nd to find here, arrived at the road to find a car already parked. Decided I could get closer and didn't do as much of a drive by as Barramundis, parked about 80m away. Gotta love ground clearance. At GZ Team Astro had it already open which made the find easier, my GPS had it about 12m away.
Took the TB and left a green elephant. Good first cache guys, Looking from outside I was expecting to be hunting through flowers!
Took the TB and left a green elephant. Good first cache guys, Looking from outside I was expecting to be hunting through flowers!
Decided to walk in. A leisurely stroll in the Green and Gold.
TeamAstro had to hunt a bit initially (I could not find the thing until a second look). FTF (by less than 60 seconds ) about 14m from where the unit said it should be.
Looked up and there was a car approaching! Mr Richary I presume!
No need to re-hide the cache…. Left a Cathay Pacific Frequent Flyer overnight bag and TN.
Thanx The Wackys, clear skies from TeamAstro.
There was a lot of cloud when we took the coordinates, so we checked them today and with clear skies the GPS is still all over the place - it's not hard to find, but you may have to broaden your search a little from GZ.
