We specifically came in this direction to find a couple of Gnomes lurking in the area.
The battery in my Nokia phone was low, so I was relying on my iPhone, which I'm not really confident with. It can be out by 20m at times.
Luckily my geosense was on song, and when I was close Simba was quite evident in his bushy repose. Luckily it would seem not too many muggles must wander around that spot.
Having grabbed him, and waiting for Ingrid to finish taking photos of benches and plants etc, I decided it would be a good chance for some photography of our own.
A young girl, who was closely watched by her father, came over asked what I was doing. I explained it simply and girl and father seemed bemused but felt it was a reasonable explanation. Maybe they thought I was looking like a gnomophile!
Will be letting this handsome fellow go in a day.
