Logs for 10kgvaluepack

Cool little hidey hole. Were worried we'd have to clamber to the top of one of the figs but it was actually pretty easy (for a grown up anyways). TFTC
TFTC! Good camouflage indeed. Feels very appropriate to be leaving a log
Cache had been moved away from mural + marker so replaced it. Logged as Lock + Chris. Lid has come off tin, probably needs replacing. TFTC

Took a few minutes but I found it! Don't take the "troll" part too literally - more "on" the bridge than under it
Given the reported ease of this cache, and my thorough search for it with the clue in mind, I suspect it's been stolen. What's more, someone has dumped a lot of trash right at the waypoint, so looking for it is going to be nasty for the foreseeable future. If it is somehow still there, i would suggest the owner moves it - but more than likely needs to be replaced as well. Too bad.
No luck unfortunately. Didn't want to stick around lest I weird out the muggles. Might come back at night or something. Really have no idea where this could've been - people in the comments are talking about reaching "into" something? What?

Area once again fenced off as mentioned in previous logs, looked in all obvious places both behind the bin cage and beneath the fence but no luck. Might have been taken, might still be there, probably could have found it if it was but was a pretty unpleasant and awkward place to look because of rampant lantana and damp dense leaf litter, was worried about insect or spider bites. Our experience in conjuction with the previous reports of a sodden logbook make me think this cache needs some maintenance desperately and wouldn't recommend it to anybody else until that has taken place. Thanks anyways.

Log didn't register when we found this and only just noticed! TFTC

Nice little area for being right by a major thoroughfare. Shame about all the rubbish. TFTC

Quick find, no pencil so ran across to the library and they were more than happy to lend me one. TNLN, TFTC

Think we may have interrupted a bit of a frisky rendezvous going on in some cars parked by the scout hall when finding this, but find it we did! TFTC
Nice clue. Snails absolutely love Geocaching, apparently. Inserted a highly trained troop to secure the GZ. Over.
Cache owner requested to be informed if pencil needed to be sharpened. Pencil needs to be sharpened, probably replaced as the lead is broken. Someone has hidden a black pen with the cache though so may not be necessary.
Lovely little park. Were stumped for a bit but used a previous cacher's photo to nut it out. Wish we'd made it in time to check out the gardens! Might come back tomorrow. TFTC.

After 4 hours and 3 DNFs (Troll, Stink Pipe, Poet's Corner) it was a relief to not have to head home empty handed, this one was a sinch. Took a fishhook (to dispose of - sharp and unhygienic dude, kids geocache remember!) and left a little trooper and a sprinkling of magic TFTC!
Nothing like 3 DNFs in a row to put a bad taste in your mouth about the whole geocaching thing looked anywhere obvious (skyscrapers = telegraph poles? Cuz there are a lot more than two of those in the clearing, and it wasn't behind any of them. If you meant the power box things, not behind either of those... If you meant trees, we couldn't see any that were obviously "competing for space"). Will have to come back when it's not bordering on dusk and the phone/torch isn't nearly out of juice. Really did look high and low around the given coordinates though and had no luck. Thanks anyways.
OH, also, on the way in we saw two additional stink pipes. Assumed these weren't related as they're nowhere near the marker?
Had a very thorough bash here to no avail today. Saw about 5 or 6 spots that looked pretty great in the vicinity of the pipe but alas, no luck. Leant the white PVC pipe against a tree as a signifier of our visit. IMO would really benefit from some new clues relating to new location, whatever the cache container is, etc. As it's clearly not as obvious as it once was. Werent sure if we should we getting waist high in the untrodden bush around the pipe etc. Frustrating!
Judging by the relative ease with which this cache was found earlier on in its stashing and the recent slew of DNFs, I'd say something's gone amiss here. We worked out the clues and looked anywhere and everywhere that made a modicum of sense, but no dice unfortunately. Would highly recommend the cache owner comes and sees what's up. Cheers.

We were really pushed for time and were getting worried that we wouldn't be able to find it! Thankfully a couple of the pics really came in handy - we'd been looking in lots of the the similar locations with no luck but finally found the right one. Nice hide. TFTC!
Nice spot! Had much less difficulty than with the nearby Old Spice cache for whatever reason. Would highly recommend coming around from the beach/chip shop side than the Skillion side if possible as it's much more pleasant and less likely to be dangerous. The pencil was broken so had to sharpen it up on the rocks like cavemen, haha. Would advise bringing your own or replacing it. TFTC.

Went for a late evening walk tonight and remembered I'd installed the Geocaching app earlier in the day. I'd just made it to Terrigal Lagoon and was pleased to see that this cache was right nearby. Frustratingly, the lagoon, ever fluctuating, reached right up against the cliff face on this particular evening, so I had to walk all the way around via Terrigal and head down the little staircase beside the road there. Wound up having a little trouble finding the cache as someone had dumped what looked like a couple of beach umbrellas on top of it. Moved it just slightly so as to prevent someone else having the same issue. To the dude who saw the axe - I did too! The cache was quite literally right under your nose! Left some change I had on me. To whomever finds it, you're bound to be hot and thirsty. Put it towards a drink! TFTC!

Found this a while back and didn't log it online apparently! Just fixing that up.
