Little I can say that hasn't already been said by others - you are THE geocaching maestro Glyn! Big Grin
This one's more cunning than a fox that's just done a PhD in cunningness at the world's finest university of cunning!!
At every turn Wink, the thought, care and attention that went into this one was truly outstanding.
I take my hat off to you.
Thank you so much for this cache.

Delighted you were able to enjoy such a smashing location in New Zealand (NOT Australia!) on Valentine's day Elizabeth. Smile

Did the full nine yard wash and brush up - cache all tickety boo.

Thanks to all the loggers noting issues.

A5 had indeed been removed.
Resolved with replacement question (math unchanged).
All other questions unchanged (answer to B6 still there and I think unlikely to be removed any time soon! Answer to Z6 still there).

Good luck to future seekers and happy geocaching! Big Grin

A fascinating location to explore at the end of the decade.
Grabbed TBs to move on.

Last day of the year, my last cache of the decade!
FTF Big Grin
Alas in a day of mixed blessings wasn't able to complete the crossing this time. Sad
Still, enjoyed what I did see and have continuing reason to return back to complete it soon.

Extremely well done on the find without co-ords!
A heartily earned FTF Smile

Great minds think alike eh!
Very well done on the FTF w/o coords!! Smile

17-Dec-09
Cache was slightly damp.
Dired a bit and replaced log book bag and silica.
Please take care with log book bag (it is tight) and ensure both bag and box are snapped/sealed shut.

13-Dec-09
Possums a go go I'm a guessin.
Is it DOC land as they may be able to do something about it?
Do hope you do replace as I thought it was a lovely cache, well worth the mosey.
I might have a spare Berocca tube kickin around if you want it. Smile

21-Sep-09
Was just in the area so thought I'd drop off a couple of travel bugs on a repeat visit...
Enjoy this reserve muchly.

17-Sep-09
Given the billing, I had high expectations of this one - unfortunately I must have started from the wrong spot as the major point of interest on the way in was the sewer upgrade in progress! LOL
A little further and I wasn't disappointed - a charming little area indeed.
Sun glinting on me as I walked through the glades and Kauri groves - quite a slice of paradise nestled in urbanity.

Spring was in the air, so time for a geocache or two! Smile
Thank you for bringing me to this interesting sight!
It's a regular mini-Kiwi Taj Mahal! Big Grin

Thanks for drawing me deeper into this lovely local area.

Cache was waterlogged at find.
Dried contents as best I could, but reckon it really needs a more sturdy (or at least better sealed) container.

Got to this one the "hard way" - down dale and up hill from the back! Recommend a bit of exploration around this park - quite the urban oasis.
A pleasant walk for a sunny afternoon.
Quite the novel hide indeed! Interested to read in prior logs as to the origin of this unusual specimen though concur with the logger who said it's as dead as anything else here and at risk of groundskeeper removal.

Some folk (who had visited here in previous years) have been wondering about what had happened to the information signs that used to be in the look out.
The Department of Conservation manage this building and sadly I have to report that they presently have no plans to replace the signs.
Continuing vandalism inferred that they had to be removed. Sad
But all hope is not lost!
Such signs as were salvaged were transfered to the Kauri Museum in Matakohe http://www.kauri-museum.com

09-Aug-09
Cache temporarily disabled pending site visit.
Don't let that stop you still visiting this unique location!

STF, FTL! Smile
Breaking a decent cache vacation, couldn't resist a burl at this one, with success!
Nice easy find and the cute central exterior touch brought a smile to my face. Smile
Always like caches such as this that take one to a notable place of interest.

TTF...
Never been down this neck of the woods before - twas high time, given the # of trips between New Lynn and town over the years!
Pleasant walk.

Noting the last log, since I was out this way today I thought I'd go do a neighbourly thing and check on it.
All was happy, well and in order, still in its spot, though no GCs in evidence here whatsoever, so maybe mark NZ Fern GC as missing.
Thanks again for a most novel spot of interest!

21-Mar-09
On a random little tiki tour with a friend (virgin geocacher) - this was a great one to visit en route to illustrate the joys of the sport!
All well with the cache.

Nice little cache.
Agree with JF - shall look forward to more Ledge Ends!
Mind you, sitting on bench to sign log and it was mosquito frenzy - haven't seen so many in a long time.
Seemed apt to leave a GC featuring one. Smile
