Logs for Fido&Rover

Interesting site. Well hidden, but easy to find. I bet the local kids love to play here.

Arrived at the site just before dark, found the cache just after dark. Damn it was a hard cache to find in the dark! Ended up on our bellies, underneath a fallen tree, shining with the light from my phone to find the damn thing. But it is a great barrel! Wish we had brought more stuff to fill it up with, but left a good book, and a bust.

Easily found the cache, but unfortunately we didn't seem to find it so easy to leave the log book there. We were miles away by the time we realised and had to go back, late that night, to return the log book (oops).

Nice to be able to roll up to with in "spitting distance" though (especially given that we had to go there twice).

Tucker time was well and truly over due by the time we reached this site, so we decided to "go for pies" before searching for the cache. After having slammed down a few (very fine) pies out the front of the bakery we crossed the road and discovered the lovely picnic area (which was so much nicer than the front of the bakery) and cursed ourselves for not crossing the road before.

Well hidden cache in a lovely area.
Thanks.

Good fun cache. Found a money clip in the cache sorely lacking in cash, so we gave it 20 Baht.

Note: 20 THB is currently worth about 0.7 AUD but we have been steadily doping against the Baht for the last six months. So if you want to get the full 70 cents worth of value, you'd better be quick Wink

Two of us searched pretty long and hard. GZ seemed to point us under a bridge (which looked like a nice place to hide a cache) but try as we might we could not find the little blighter!
Grrr.

We had a good search for this cache, but just couldn't find it. We searched both ways, first left, then right, then left again. We found a large tree exactly 140 'Rover' paces to the left with a lovely cache-able hollowed out limb, but alas, no cache. ):

The first of many for Fido & Rover.
We suffered many trials, but finally we've tasted victory!

Thanks guys.

Finally found this one at the stroke of midnight. What a night!

We got lost inside the airport, then got trapped inside an horse arena. Crashed our bike trying to escape, and finally had to limp home with a broken clutch leaver. But you know, it was all worth it.

Thanks guys,
Fido and Rover.
