Oh what a beautiful village!! We have driven through this village several times but never stopped. Thanks to Geocaching we are exploring so many wonderful places which is making our new life in South Australia very exciting, we've been here 10 months now and look forward to weekends when we can spend time as a family having fun!! This location is truely a hidden Gem. TFTC
This is our first 'Multi-cache' find!! Very interesting wondering around the grave yard reading all the head stones. What a beautiful church with such a wonderful resting place with beautiful views of the Onkaparinga National Park and River meandering through the valley. Once we had found the grave we were looking for we were on our way to find the cache. Up the road we went to find 'Gate 3' luckily a local man told us that this gate used to be Gate 1, so we knew we were in the right place! Lovely walk in the valley with Pelican's flying overhead. Watch out for the bees nest, do not attempt to take any honeycomb! Very slippery today after Friday nights storm. First find for GeoDad Took White Lamb and Old Penny, put in Pinocchio and Soccer counter. TFTC
Thank you for bringing us to this beautiful place. I'm sure Princess Diana would have loved it here too! We took the Sheriff's badge and left the World Cup mascot. TFTC

This was our 2nd cache today, after a lovely morning walking round the beautiful Botanical Gardens on a sunny winters day in Adelaide. A few muggles around on skate boards & bikes this afternoon which made things a bit more challenging. Took green slinky and put in World Cup Mascot. Off home now to batten down the hatches!!TFTC
After a lovely morning walking around the Botanical Gardens on a beautiful sunny winters day, we decided to try and find a couple of close by caches before heading home to batten down the hatches before the strong winds and heavy rains arrive tonight! This was a great fun cache to find enjoying our walk along the river. Our eldest GeoKid found this one! We took a couple of little green soliders, put in a World Cup Mascot. TFTC

This was our 1st find of 3 caches today, while out with 12 children/5 adults having great fun on a lovely walk along the river and across the wetlands, during the July half term holidays. This was found by our eldest geokid Daniel and is his smallest cache find to date! We love this area, we have great fun Kayaking down the river in the summer and walking our geodog through the marshes watching the Kangaroo's playing hide'n'seek in the long reeds We put this back exactly where we found it!! Second cache of the day, on the way back from our drive out. Boys needed to have a 'wee' stop so stopped at the Dublin Travel Bug Rest Stop to stretch our legs. We had already started to loose light so this was a bit of a challenge for us, especially as we had already came face to face with quite a large spider at our previous cache!! As we are new to geocaching we decided to leave the bugs and take the piece of GOLD! we put in a soccer counter. TFTC and showing us this lovely little town which otherwise would have just been bypassed on the highway.
We all fancied a change of Scenery today so we headed north from Adelaide up the A1 towards Port Wakefield. Decided to head towards the beach signposted 'Best Crabbing Beach' in Parham. Worth a look as they use these very unusual tractor contraptions to launch their fishing boats. We then headed back towards the highway along an unsurfaced road towards Once upon a time in Mexico! Parked the car and headed out to find the cache, came across one huge spider which nearly sent us packing but persevered and finally found the cache. Took the green frog and put in a soccer counter. 2nd find of the day! It was a race to beat being locked in the car park as the gates closed at 6pm but the boys were really excited and so wanted to find another one before we went home today. By the time we found this one it was getting quite dark but luckily the hint helped us out. We took out the brown bear and put in some bubbles. TFTC
1st find of the day! We started off late afternoon on a lovely Autumn day, lovely walk and fantastic views. Our eldest son found this one which he was over the moon about as it was his first find. We took the pedometer and put in a water pistol. TFTC
