Great hike on my circular tour of South Florida, ran into a gator or three at the signed warning area, as well as a fellow hiker that was also from Canada. Thank you!

seems like a fun park, but the torrential downpour sort of dashed my hopes at caching here for the day. I just found this cache then avoided all the falled trees on the way out. Park staff were working in the rain trying to deal with all the fallen trees on the road. Thanks!

no muggles this early in the morning - had to explain to a curious officer what i was doing, and that i wasn't drunk!

Found on a great bike ride through the area. must have been distracted by the moss in the area, as I had quite a difficult time with this. Saw what I thought to be a Marten on the nearby trail that was running with me as i biked along.
Thanks for the great adventure!

A fairly large skate park, which is odd considering the town size is only about 200 people.

This tail is made from on old rail line that ran between the cities of Barrie and Orillia in Ontario Canada. The "Oro-Medonte Railtrail" runs along the shores of lake simcoe, making it a great hiking trail that is quite scenic.

This is Ross Street In Barrie Ontario Canada. The intersection where this photo took place is between an old hospital, which is now a care home, and a large park, and the city barracks. Thanks!

Barrie Gaol (archeaic spelling of Jail) was built around 1840, to house the 'local lunatic', and was expanded in 1860 as the town grew. It was built next to city hall in Barrie Ontario Canada.
The Barrie Jail was a maximum security correctional facility providing short term, secure custody for persons awaiting trial or sentencing, those being held for immigration hearings or deportation, those serving short sentences
The last inmate to reside at the Barrie gaol was transferred to the Penetanguishene superjail on December 7, 2001. It remains vacant.

Communities like Buxton and Chatham Ontario were some of the earliest Black settlements in Ontario. The African Methodist church is one of the few remaining structures from this time.
In September 2005, Local TV and Radio stations blamed geocachers for looting the graves on the site. The town council was going to ban geocachers from the township. Local geocachers stepped in and defended themselves, as there was no actual geocache any where near the site. Most of the media outlets in the area never recinded their statements. The town council however, admitted their mistake and appologized.

THis is the actual movie set (that I snuck onto with a GPS) for "Flesh Walkers" this summer. Its a western/werewolf movie (as a lot of Canadian flicks are.. it seems..)
It was taken in the small town of Creemore Ontario, which is best known for its beer, Creemore Springs. The pictures were taken following the scene of a shoot'em up roof-top battle. The entire town showed up to watch.

This is the Devil's Punch bowl in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The white punch around the bottom is actually ice.
It is a 39 metre drop, into a circular hole. After it reaches the bottom of the Niagra escarpment it turns into a swift flowing river all the way to Lake Ontario.

Dammit, I'm a geocacher. I use 14 billion dollars worth of military technology to find tupperware containers in the woods...

Probably the worst picture of me ever. This well is next to a lake and stream near Mono Ontario Canada (or if mono is not on the map, Orangeville). If lies a few hundred metres from the road, and is not visited by many.
