Cache #7 of the Australia trip. Visiting from Montreal, on our way back from the eclipse.
Our GPS was quite confused, pointing us all over the place. (It may still have been unused to the South and East coordinates.)
We were about to give up when Kat, as usual, spotted the cache. Some minor stealth later, and we had it in our possession. [It was actually in the first place we had looked, but we hadn't looked hard enough.]
Took an alien finger puppet, left a super bouncy ball.

Visiting from Montreal, on our way back from the eclipse. Cache #6 of the Australia trip.
We dropped off Corqy the travel bug, who came from Montreal, and whose goal is to visit wine regions of the world. So we took him (or her; it's hard to anthropomorphise a cork...) for a little tour of Australia: drinking wine in Canberra, choosing wine at Victoria Market in Melbourne, drove through the Coonawarra wine region, saw a solar eclipse, and took a tour of the Barossa Valley wine region (getting to sample many wines), before being placed in this cache. [Pictures online soon.]
The trickiest bit about this cache was that, having just come from the Barossa Valley wine tour, we weren't about to drive, and we had some trouble finding our way back to our hostel. There was no obvious phone from which we could call a taxi, and waiting to hail one wasn't working. Eventually a bus came by, though, so we took that.

Looks like this one was popular this day.
Visiting from Montreal, also on the way to the eclipse. Cache #5 of the Australia trip. With us were a bunch of North American friends, all of us wowed by the view.
Took a comemorative dollar; left a slinky.

Cache #4 on our trip to Australia. Visiting from Montreal on our way to the eclipse.
Very pretty location. As usual, Kat's eagle eyes spotted a pile of rocks she thought looked manmade, and there indeed it was.
Took a pin from the city of Launceton, left a super bouncy ball.

Took nothing, left a Montreal bottle opener.

Cache #2 on our Australia trip. Visiting from Montreal, on our way to see the eclipse.
We did an early-morning raid on this one, which was around the corner from our hostel, before heading off to Melbourne.
Took a squirt gun, left a glowstick.

Our first Australian cache; our GPS was new at these South and East coordinates.
Visiting from Montreal, on our way to see the solar eclipse. We had a bunch of our North American friends with us, as well as a pair of native friends acting as tourguides, for their first Geocaching experience.
Took a cache cow, left a couple of super bouncy balls.
