[Lovely spot. Couldn't find the cache, I think it may have been lost / stolen.]
There is a small hollow in the ground behind the large rock, covered by a couple of flat rocks - with nothing in it. Looks to me like this is where the container would have been.

The track from Hawea to Albert Town is magnificent. If you can, do this one on a mountain bike, otherwise the cache is pretty handy to the carpark.

Keep your camera handy - you can take photos of the lovely scenery when the muggles come past.

We came at this one from the Clutha side of the hill (which I think might be the hard way to get there). We biked about half way up the hill then it got a bit steep. So left the bikes behind and walked the rest on foot. The view from here is superb.
