Logs for Sherpa from Oz

11-Aug-09
This cache has been lost - I am now archiving it in the hope someone else will take up the challenge of locating one at the summit.

Many thanks to those who took up the challenge of finding it - the view is breathtaking as is the walk (literally!)

Cheers,

Sherpa

Second attempt and a little more attention to the clues and we found this one easily at 4.45pm. I have walked through area many times over the years - a well kept secret - I hope it stays undeveloped for future generations to enjoy.
Out: Dinosaur and Lizard
In: Golf Ball and fishing lure.

Came back to visit this cache to drop of a travel bug - I had a very excited brother in law in charge of the GPS, our other find for the day was too small for the travel bug I picked up in Gladstone.

Really Useful is now the temporary home for Wakely Junior.

Well - this has set a benchmark for Geocaches - a lot of effort has gone into this very environmentally friendly, low impact design.

Well done Bundy. A great surprise - I could no see the wood for the trees...

This was a fun find @ 12.15pm - my father in law raced off with the GPS in search of the clues. A great location and a very appropriate container - very considerate.
Thanks Bundy.
Cheers,
Sherpa.

Found this one at 11.50am. Well actually my father in law found it! Still intact even though close to some digging. Also found a pair of multi grips and a Magellan GPS box/packaging and instructions????

I spent a while looking for this one but could not find it.

Could be due to my inexperience or may be gone. I notice that many said it was an easy find.

May try agian soon.

Sherpa.

Sherpa and and little crew found this one at 5.30pm. A great spot for a little break.

I had new little team eager for success so we went for this one again - Sherpa
Out: Action Man
In: Fishing Lewer

07-Dec-06
This was an exciting find for my young crew of lads (5-10 year olds). After fighting over who was going to carry the GPS - I suggested they decrypt the clue which added more challenge.

A great find - very intertesting to find an unusual storage object. Still well covered.

Sherpa.
In: Bottle Opener Keyring
Out: Horn (Thanks to whoever put that in, I heard it all teh way home!)

01-Dec-06
This was our first ever Geocashing find - the kids had a ball. Agree with Sunshine Toledo - the nearny hole was a good distractor with a scorpion on guard duty.
In: Keyring Bottle Opener
Out: Scoobie.
