#1939: Initially I wasn't sure what to look for. After a couple of minutes at this very busy place I found the answer. Thanks for the Virtual!

#1058: I enjoyed a nice early morning stroll in the park opposite to my hotel. Interesting spots! At this time of the day there aren't so many Pokemon Go players yet. I could look for all answers and finally grab the cache without a problem. I could then write this log sitting in the sun using the hotel's Wifi TFTC!

#1049: This is definitively a taller green pole than that of the 'A short green pole' cache I found a few days ago. I like these cache-containers, they blend in very well. TFTC!
#1048: My first thought was that the cache had been muggled. I found the lid on the ground. But the cache is still there (yes, without the lid). I put the lid back in the tin (it is broken) and left the cache upside down to avoid the logbook from becoming wet. Not sure this will work well. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1057: I was here earlier this week, but couldn't find anything. Late in the afternoon today I had another look and found it in the end! Some 20-30 m away from where my GPS suggested it should be. Ah well, a good end to a nice (caching) day. TFTC!
#1056: Found this one quickly on my way back to CBD after a nice stroll through Fawkner Park. Surprised to see such a big container. TFTC!
#1051: After a tour at the MCG and a nice stroll through the botanical gardens I went to Fawkner Park for some 'Quest' caches. #15 was the first one I found. Nice hide! TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1054: Another nice hide! It reminded me of a cache I found yesterday in CBD. Fawkner Park is definitively a nicer place than that alleyway. TFTC!
#1055: I must have missed the previous cachers by a few minutes, as I saw the same group in the park. They were making a group photo with a huge football and then wandered off. I like it that the 5 Quest caches I found in the park were all hidden differently. This was no exception! My pen didn't do that well on the logbook. I managed to write "UU" only at the top on the backside of the log, but I can provide a photo-log too if so desired by the CO. TFTC!
#1052: My second find in Fawkner park. Very good camo! Without the hint I would probably not have found it. TFTC!
#1053: There are two possibilities to hide a cache here. Obviously it was the second spot where I looked. This cache is likely to remain my 'furthest find from home' for a long time (16528 km). Tomorrow I will fly back home to the Netherlands. TFTC!

#1044: On the way back from the Fitzroy Gardens to my hotel I tried to find some more CBD caches. This one was a quick find once the smoking muggles had left the area. Ha, funny cache! Sad story about Nauru. TFTC!
#1040: Interesting art! But I would have missed it if it hadn't been an Earthcache. I visited it on my way to the nearby parks. There I saw a fountain that contained 'improbable animals', as Dolphins were spread out on boulders well above the water..... Logged with permission of the CO. TFTC and greetings from a Dutch geocacher!
#1042: I enjoyed a nice walk through Fitzroy Gardens today. I also had a go at the caches close to the gardens. This one was a quick find because of the hint. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1043: Another quick find near the Fitzroy Gardens. I left a new piece of paper in the cache as the old log is full. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1046: The dead street art scared the hell out of me! Then I spotted the cache. Logbook is full, but I managed to scribble my name somewhere. TFTC!
#1041: After having found Mercury and Venus earlier this week, I went to Mars today. I enjoyed a nice stroll through the Fitzroy Gardens and had no problem finding and logging the cache. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1047: I found this cache during my third visit this week. So far, I had looked in all the wrong corners of this extremely busy place. I found the same cache-type last week in Mildura, ha, ha. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
13-Jul-16
#1036: I waited the rain out in the Tea Room of the Botanical Gardens, and then walked to this cache location. Nice and simple! TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1031: Quick find while walking along the River Yarra to the Botanical Gardens. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1038: Nice camo, although this was somewhat undone by a yellow lego brick close to the cache. I put it in the cache box as a swap. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1033: Beautiful gardens! I spent several hours here today. I guess most people were playing Pokemon Go instead of enjoying all the plants and trees. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1035: Cool cache! I have seen it a few times before, including last week in Mildura. This time I was warned by the hint and had the cache in hand within 10 seconds (it took a bit longer in Mildura.....). TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1032: On my way to the Botanical Gardens I also paid a visit to the Shrine of Remembrance. A very friendly guide gave me a personal tour, explained me the outline of the building (e.g., 'pyramid'-shaped roof, the dark columns, ....) and allowed me to watch the Ray of Light ceremony together with a school class. Fascinating experience! And some intriguing granite questions too. Have a FAVO! Answers sent to the CO. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1039: Ninth and final find of today, yet another skakids one. Not sure what two nearby muggles were doing - Pokemon Go again? -, but they paid no attention to me whatsoever. Luckily I found the cache quickly. With a big smile on my face after a beautiful (caching) day in the Botanical Gardens I walked back to CBD to take a tram to my hotel. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1034: I left the Botanical Gardens for a few minutes to locate this cache. Cool camo. With so many people playing Pokemon Go around here, probably nobody noted what I was doing or saw me at all. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1037: Cool spot! I would have missed it if it wasn't for this cache. The hint makes this a D1 cache; not sure I would have found it otherwise. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
12-Jul-16
#1029: Another CBD-find for me. I added a new piece of paper as the old log (a business card) was full. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands.
#1021: Excellent Earthcache! I learnt a lot of new stuff and found it fascinating to see these meteorites. Have a FAVO! E-mail with answers sent. Later today I visited the Melbourne Museum and saw a small display of tektites. These splash-form 'stones' are related to a meteorite impact. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1024: Wow, I really like the idea for this series! I only have time to visit the Mercury- and Venus-caches today, then I will go to the Melbourne Museum. Good hide too! TFTC and hello from The Netherlands.
#1025: I walked from Mercury to Venus, and found the cache without problem. I took the TB and will bring it home with me to The Netherlands next week. TFTC!
#1022: What a treat! Two Earthcaches so close to each other. After a look at the nearby meteorites, I walked along this nice little rock garden. As I am from The Netherlands, I had no clue about question #4. But after a quick look on the web I found the answers. I have seen many scoria (or cinder) cones during previous holidays, especially on Hawaii and in the vicinity of Bend, Oregon. Thank you, Rhinogeo, for this nice Earthcache!
#1023: On my way to the Melbourne Museum I picked up a few tradis. The logbook is soaked so I attach a photo-log to prove that I actually found the cache. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1026: After a visit to the Melbourne Museum I walked back to my hotel while trying to find some CBD caches. This was a quick find because of the hint. I managed to scribble my initials 'UUW' in a log from April this year. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1027: Found this cache while strolling through Chinatown. Nice camo on the cache. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1030: My last CBD find of today. Nice hide, but very run-down location. Glad to be out of this alleyway. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands.
11-Jul-16
#1018: I enjoyed an excellent eco-tour today through the You Yang park and the Serendip Reserve. While the guides were preparing lunch at the picnic area, I walked around to look for some tupperware boxes rather than wildlife. No muggles here today, so this one was a quick find. I took the TB with me, and will bring it next week back home with me to The Netherlands. TFTC!
#1019: My second find during a lunch break of an eco-tour that brought me to the You Yang park and the Serendip Reserve. With the hint in mind I searched at a couple of places, and then found the cache. After signing the log with my TB stamp, I went back to the picknick area for some sandwiches and Billy Tea. Lots of wildlife. TFTC!
10-Jul-16
#1008: On my way to the MCG. I was hoping for a tour, but I wasn't aware there was an AFL match later today. I will return later this week. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1006: On my way to the MCG. I was hoping for a tour, but I wasn't aware there was an AFL match later today. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1011: Yes, I made several photographs! Nice views. Found the cache fairly quickly because of the hint. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
#1005: Quick find because of the hint. My second find along Melbourne Walks #6 The Art of Sports. Nice to find this old cache. TFTC!
#1004: My first find along Melbourne Walks #6 The Art of Sports. Nice container. TFTC!
#1010: A small detour from my Melbourne Walk #6 The Art of Sport. I signed the logbook with my TB stamp. TFTC and hello from The Netherlands!
