What a start to the IGD weekend! A great Friday night sundowner hosted by Neva2old! Thank youWe kick off tomorrow at 10am at the Memorial Hall for an intro to geocaching session, followed by a snag sizzle lunch for the hungry crowds. We have some gadget caches, displays, west Oz shop and our IGD raffle all available at the hall between 10am and 2pmWe have a sundowner on Saturday night at the Toodyay (Freemasons) Hotel followed by some night caching to find GCA1V0K which will kick off at 7pm at the listed co ordinates (dont forget your torch!)Weve had the last 5 challenges published, creating a trail of 15 challenge caches. 21 multi caches have been published in town. Hi all, the technology gods are not with us and we will not be in a position to show the film on the big screen at the drive in. We have implemented plan B and will utilise the hall in Koorda. The hall will be open from 6:45pm. Will share the GPS coordinates and aim to update the icon on the maps. We are sorry to share this info however hope you can still enjoy the trip to the wheatbelt, find plenty of geocaches and enjoy the company of fellow geocachers. 

Hi all, the GIFF event in Koorda is providing some technical issues. The correct file type was only received today from geocaching HQ, as such the CRC who look after the drive in are trying to download and test the reel. Currently they cant confirm it works so the committee are looking into alternate options to view the film on a standard file type should the need arise. Plan B and Plan C have been worked through and this will include the local hall or Pub and watching the film on a projector. Either way an event in Koorda will still take place fingers and toes crossed that the CRC are able to get the film ready for us to view at the drives on Saturday night!

Please note that the nearest shop is ~30 minutes away by car for any food and beverage purchases.

Hi Everyone,

The count down for WAGB22 is on with only a few days remaining till we see everyone in Bunbury. Just a quick reminder that the WAGB dinner for 2022 is on Saturday 4th commencing from 1600hrs at the Bunbury Bowling Club. Come join us and fellow geocachers to have a bite to seat socialize and find out who took out the Cache of the Year for 2022.
If you haven't already head over to our website to lodge your vote for Cache of the year. 

Due to the current WA Government Public Health Measures and to assist us with planning for WAGB event ensuring it complies with Government Health Directions can all teams logging a will attend please indicate the number of people attending as part of your team.

At this stage the event is still proceeding but we will be monitoring the situation carefully and following the WA Government Health advice.

As of today we have a capacity limit of 500 people in a outdoor setting requiring the 2 sqm rule.
Anyone attending the event will be required to wear a mask even during outdoor events

The Saturday night dinner will require us to fit the capacity limits of the venue therefore please ensure on your attendance log for the dinner you indicate how many people are attending so we can ensure we are within the restrictions.

The West Oz committee will keep you updated as things develop. Please ensure to check in to our website for the latest and up to date information regarding this event. 

Less than 48 hours to go until IGD! Heres a couple of last minute reminders for the event - please take the time to read these as there is some very important information here.

Petrol - There is no service station in Kulin, only an unmanned card only bowser in town, no cash.

Saturday Breakfast - There is no local breakfast options on Saturday morning - so BYO or a small local supermarket is open 730-1130am.

Phone Reception - There is no reception for any carrier other than Telstra in Kulin, so please have your planned caches saved offline.
