2nd time round, after a failed find where by I was convinced I was looking in the right spot and messaged the owner speculating it was missing! Turns out I was about 3 meters off, slapped my head when I realised where it was. Found it straight away this time.

Took me to some interesting places I hadn't visited and offers a good way to cruise all over town.

Last full free day in Queensland before heading to pastures new and then home to the UK. Took the drive over from Gladstone, picked up a chipped windscreen but it was all okay because I got to enjoy the tranquility (minus the ants eating my feet and the wasps eating my BBQ) of Scoria.

Very much enjoyed the trek to the top, probably would have avoided going up if there wasn't a cache stashed up there. Thought the whole place was a bit unimpressive when I arrived, having driven from Gladstone, but climbing Scoria and then having a solo BBQ when I got back down made it all worth it. The cache was an easy find but well hidden, excellent container has kept everything in mint condition. It was a bit fiddly to ease it out of its hiding place mind. Lots of spiders, by the end of my time there it was like one had built a web on my face! TFTC

First time I have come across that method of attachment, enjoyed something different. Also now know what an Eclipse tin is! Thanks.

Past experience told me where to look for this, found it in the place I tried. Great hide though. Cheers.

Some maintenance works going on on the bridge, giving a slightly expose view of the raising portion, an interesting sight. Resulting in a big diversion though! Searched high and low for this until re-checking my gps (just using my iphone); it decided to shift me a few meters along aaannnd bingo. Cheers.

Nicely hidden, but right in the open. The kind you would look straight at but would only find if you knew you were looking at something. Thought I had broken it for a second when I extracted it, it was all okay though. TFTC.

The 3 trackables listed in this cache are no longer present.

Taking heed of your concern for accurate placement and hiding, thought i should note that when I found the cache it wasn't covered over and was easy to spot without searching. I replaced it where i found it and covered it, but suggest the owner returns to make sure it is how they want it.

Took somewhere I had yet to visit. If you were disappointed by the faded info board nearby, skip round to spinnaker point across the bay to read the same board but shiny and new, plus there is another cache in that area. TFTC.

Had to linger around for a while whilst a couple ate their lunch on a nearby bench. Enjoyed the flowery perfume whilst sheepishly looking for this, aware that I was in full view of lots of pedestrians. Reading through some of the previous logs gave me a hint. Ta.

Easy find, but wasn't concealed that well, tried to do a better job when I replaced it, extrapolating from the way it was hidden when I found it. TFTC.

Loved the way this one is concealed. Shame the museum was already closed for xmas.

Been here a few times and never thought to check if there would be a cache in the area. Found the gz easily but had to use a stick to relocate a few 8 legged guards, very poignant. Gold star for effort with this one, first of its kind I have come across and really enjoyed it. TFTC.

Excavated lots of rocks and poked my hands in some dark holes to no avail. A tricky one. A hint please Wink
