Smithj9 and I started our day of caching from Schenectady, NY to Carlisle, PA for the night early again. We had some specific oldies and Virtuals picked our for the trip, but did stop along the way for some other random caches. Our main goal was to get GC39-The Spot, the oldest in NY. We moved along pretty well, but it did take us a while to hike to GC39 and back. We had already hiked plenty on this trip and it took us a little longer than normal. We ended up getting to the room later than usual, but still in time to get some food and go to sleep for the next day's adventures. Thanks for all the neat caches while visiting from Florida.
I will send in any required information/photos, etc. for myself and for Smithj9.

Smithj9 and I left Ocala, FL Wednesday on a road trip to get the oldest caches in MS, LA, AR, TN, and SC. We also added a special cache in Nashville- a Partnership Attribute cache. We drove after work from home to Crestview, Fl to stay the night, and randomly cached along the way. We got up Thursday and cached along the way from Crestview to Meridian, MS. It was raining when we got there, so we grabbed our umbrellas and took off down the trail after the oldest cache in MS-Bonita Lakes. We found it with no problem, then cached randomly around the area until we decided to go to the room for the night. It eventually stopped raining, which made it a little easier. We got up the next day and made our way from Meridian to Alexandria, LA. We had a few caches picked out in particular, and also stopped randomly for others. The main goal was to get there and get the oldest cache in LA,-Wild Azalea. It was raining again when we got to that one, but we grabbed the umbrellas and took off down the trail after the cache. Found it, took some pics, then worked our way to the room for the night, The next morning, we got up and headed for Little Rock, AR for the night. We grabbed some caches randomly along the way and a few we had picked out. The next morning, we got up early and headed for Mountain Home, AR to grab the oldest cache in AR-Gorilla Stash. We had some specific caches picked out, and randomly stopped for some others along the way. We got to Mountain Home, found Gorilla Stash, and went to the room for the night. Thanks for the fun!

Smithj9 and I left pretty early from Lithonia for another fun-filled caching adventure. We only had 4 months missing for our missing months hidded grid, and knocked one of those out yesterday. Today, we had a variety of neat caches on our list to definately go after as we meandered our way around to Marietta for the night. We had two special caches for the Months Hidden Grid that we needed, virtuals, earthcaches, wherigos, puzzles we solved, challenge caches, as well as some older traditionals. We also stopped randomly along the way and grabbed some others to break up the drive. We did good and only dnf'd one. It was a long 14 hr caching day and we were tired, but it was worth it! Thanks to all the co's for placing and keeping these active and healthy for us to enjoy!
This was one of the big target caches we were after today and it was so much fun to find! We both dropped off some TB's to move along and picked up one.

Smithj9 and I started the New Year off pretty early and cached to and around the Phoenix area for a while, atttended an event, then cached our way back to Las Vegas to get ready to fly back to Florida early in the morning. Thanks for the New Year's Day fun and for placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy while visiting from Florida!
At the last minute before leaving Florida on Dec 20th, I looked up the oldest Geocache in Arizona. Come to find out, it wasn't that far from Yuma, where we were staying near the end of our trip. So, we re-arranged our travel plans and triedot leave enough time to drive and cache from Yuma to Phoenix, and grab GC57-Geocache. We were doing fine until it started raining. We said whatever and kept on caching our way to it (in the rain), and at one point, stopped at Target and spent $40 on two umbrellas. O.k. We carried on to a few more Virtual caches and finally decided it was time to head to GC57. We get there, (it's still raing and 43 degrees outside), to find that the gate appeared to be locked and we were about 1.5 miles from the cache. We parked to figure things out and I decided to go read the sign by the gate. Come to find out, the gate was just shut and not locked. So...Off we went. We found it, but it was a cold, wet and windy walk after the long and bumpy ride to park at the Facing North Cache. We made it back to the car, cold, tired, and wet, but were relieved to have found it. We took the slow, bumpy road back to the gate and...it was locked! We turned around and found a camper who gladly helped us out and we made our way to the room for the night. Thanks for the Grand Adventure!

Smithj9 and I got another early start to work our way from Lamar East, then eventually to Denver by the end of the day. We concentrated mostly on virtual and earth caches, but grabbed a few traditional caches along the way. We saw a lot of neat stuff and learned a lot about the history and geology of the areas as we went. Thanks for placing and maintaining these for us to enjoy while visiting from Florida.
This was one of the caches that we just HAD to get while we were this close!

Yay! Smithj9 and I had this on the top of our 'to do' list of caches for this weekend and we got it done. It took us around 1hr and 50min to hike to the cache, find it, and hike back out. The trail was nice and fairly dry for the 1st .5 miles, then we came across a gate in the trail that said the area behind it was an 'environmentally sensitive area'. This is where you are going to need boots. They have made a temporary 'trail' around this blocked off area and let me tell you that it was no picnic. It was muddy the whole way around and there was water above ankle deep in several places. We were prepared and made it through, but it would have been nice to be able to stay on the dry trail. None-the-less, we made it around and headed on back towards gz for the Christmas Cache. When we got to the last 500', it was time to put the rubber boots on again and head on in for the find. After a slushy, muddy trek, we had the prize in hand! All in all, it was not a bad hike, even with the wet and muddy detour. Thanks!

Smithj9 and I were staying in the Naples area for a bit and made the drive over to grab a few of these old Virtual caches we didn't have. Thanks for the cool cache and for bringing us out here.

Smithj9 and I had another great day on the ET series and managed to get the remaining caches up to 2400 done today! Yay! At one point this morning, we found 92 caches in an hour and 94 caches the next hour. Another new record for ourselves. This has been a great adventure and we thank you for all the fun we had!
