Logs for donkeybottombiter
06-Jul-08
Found by donkeybottombiter and heffa, at 17:00.
We liked this cache. It's a bit of a mystery why there are two foot-bridges so close together. Any insights anyone?

Donkeybottombiter and heffa got driven off (with several lame excuses) by a security guard who probably thought we were there to steal the copper pipes...

1:30pm, found by Heffa & DonkeyBottomBiter. This is a terrifyingly hard cache during business hours, and almost impossible on a weekend. It is even harder when wearing motorcycle gear. Argh. It took us half an hour to put it back!
Sweet Cache!
Note to maintainer: LOGBOOK IS FULL! I had replacement books and bags on me, but nothing which would fit, and no means to cut them down to size, and no room in the cache for a second log anyway. Took nothing, left nothing.

12:00pm found by Heffa in the company of Donkeybottombiter. Something was happening nearby, and we had to avoid mothers with strollers to replace the cache.
This was my first taste of motorcyclegeocaching, and lo! It rocked!

11:00am - Found by Heffa with Donkeybottombiter. A slightly exposed position with much dog-walking, fun though.

Found around 14:10 (I think) in the company of Sarahg and SatyricTim. Got quite close to it from the totally wrong direction before finding the easy (trivial) way to it. Again, SatyricTim actually spotted it. Sweeeeet walking track.
I personally:
Took: Tiny water pistol
Left: RAM in a bag
Again, I leave it to t'others to log their own takens & lefts.

Took: Nuthin'
Left: Pistolerius
Sarahg and SatyricTim can speak for themselves.

Found at 14:55 with Ekkles. This time we didn't try to brute-force it. Having made suitable reconnaisance several previous times, we parked somewhere much more sensible and had an easier walk. Had to use the clue in the end though... the GPS didn't like the trees. Took a party popper and a persicope. Left a dubious 'mexican' racial stereotype and a different persicope.

Ekkles and I got within 150M before we yielded to the power of Gravity and fled, fearful that the sun would set before we reached the car. Doubtless there is Another Way, but we were both already very tired.
22-Apr-06
Ekkles and I searched for half an hour but could not find it. There were a lot of 600ml plastic containers of the empty-soft-drink-bottle variety...
Didn't mind though: It was worth it to stop and take in the spectacle of the ghost suburb. Wow. V.Spooky, like a little sample of the world after the extinction of mankind.
If a cache hides in the forest, but there are no satellites left to find it, is it still a cache?

Found in the company of SatyricTim and Sarahg. An elegantly hidden cache. Sadly we had no beer! (calamity!)
I shall endeavour to return with beer labels, and maybe more.

Found in the company of SatyricTim and Sarahg. My GPS battery had gone flat, so I just followed. It is indeed a great park, although seekers after this cache should beware of bull-ants, if inclined to sit on the ground.

Ekkles and Donkeybottombiter found this cache, not exactly where GZ says it should be, but close enough.
Very purdy body of water.
Taken: Subway card, Orange marker.
Left: Padlock with key, Fighter Jet.

Ekkles and Donkeybottombiter found this cache, eventually.

Taken: Cat stencil and optical thingy.
Left: USA $1 bill

Found by ekkles and donkeybottombiter in the middle of the hot hot day. Amazingly, this well-established BBQ venue had no people, but a lone family who were just walking through. Very quiet and peaceful, but unbelievably hot.

Found in the company of my brother Heffa, his first cache! An easy straightforward single cache, nicely placed.
Taken: Squirrel Sticker.
Left: Coffee HQ vouchers.

Found it, eventually, with help from Sarahg, although I did a certain amount of very unsettling crawling which turned out to be unnecessary. Magnificently artful cache. Impressed!

Most enjoyable, and very discrete, even on the busiest of days. Ekkles says: YAY GLITTER! 8D
26-Nov-05
Found this cache with Ekkles. It's a beautiful place, and Ekkles does love cemeteries. We had to do a lot of fooling around to get it hidden again without being overlooked.
Took a little pewter figure and a carabiner (sp?). Left a little egyptian guy and some 30-pin memory.
Note for Muzza: we also left a fresh "Quill Q560" 96-page Note-book and a zip-loc bag to fit just that book, because the existing log is full.

Found with sarahg as below. Took the 1500BC egyptian, left a siemens telecommunications van. Am a little worried that the cache may have rolled when I returned it to its hiding place. Extra-long arms may be called for.
25-Sep-05
Found by myself and Ekkles. Took googly-eyed duck magnet, left Professor Byte. A beautiful day for caching!
