A lovely area that I havent been to for a while. I think the first time I ever came here was back in 1983.I was amazed to see so much of the wreck still visible in the sand.Is it possible to talk lithification without lisping?Thanks pineapplegoldy for another interesting earthcache.

Joint *FTF*.I quite enjoy visiting Warnambool, although it's usually just a place to pass through as I head along the coast further east. And there are certainly some lovely old buildings, although I've never noticed this former church before, perhaps because it is somewhat overshadowed by the one up the road. Interesting design - looks more like a Freemasons Hall!Thanks The Evil Pagan Clan for the cache. A favourite point for the FTF.

With a couple of days free, I decided to head off on an overnight solo caching and camping trip.I targeted a few caches of interest, including this one.After collecting the required information and calculating the final coordinates, it was off to GZ for a quick find.The cache container and contents were in good condition.Thanks Freddo for the cache. 

With a couple of days free, I decided to head off on an overnight solo caching and camping trip.I targeted a few caches of interest, including this one.I had terrible trouble trying to work out the coordinates here. In the end I contacted a previous finder and, after comparing notes, discovered that the PO Boxes had been reconfigured!With the aid of a photo of the previous layout of the boxes I was able to work out the coordinates without any trouble, then it was off to GZ for a quick find.The cache container and contents were in excellent condition and a photo of the new PO Box layout has been sent to the CO to enable the cache description to be updated.Thanks plesiosaur22 for the cache.

Eventually I worked out that the previous signage must have been replaced (and the reference to the Aboriginal group has changed!).However, all was not lost. Given the maths involved, there were really only a few possibilities and they were all close together. So I did the maths and checked each of the possibilities, but there was no cache to be found.In the end I contacted a previous finder who was able to confirm one of my possible coordinates. I suspect the container may have floated away when the area was last flooded. So I contacted the CO, replaced the cache and provided a photo of the new signage to enable the cache description to be updated.Thanks locus cache for the cache.
