a great little cache, enjoyed by the whole family, I made the kids count the railings twice just to make sure, struggled with the whelks but counted them in the end.

visited this spot a day or so earlier only to find my pocket query hadn't downloaded the picture, returned with pic to find that we had been admiring the same view previously, this led to a very quick find.
I forgot to note what was swapped and am back in england now,
think we took the Ned figure and left a comic relief red nose.

at last a nice easy find in australia. looked at several others with mindboggoling clues to solve and gave up before starting.
didn't sit down as heaving with ants - pretended to scratch my ankle instead.
took DHL key ring and left hard hat pencil sharpener and a pen as not one in the cache

First earthcache we've done stopped by on the way back from trying 'jetty view' the first time. The party consisted of my wife and I and our 3 children George William and Molly. Lovely walk through the park and great views, south Australia must have been some what wetter and colder back then.

with the temp approaching 40C an iceberg would have been nice after 10 mins searching we poms gave in to the heat and retreated to the AC of the car

after starting on thr wrong side of the tracks we made our way to GZ in the scorching heat only for my son to anounce after 5 mins of serching that he was desperate for the loo, declared to return when cooler and try again

surprisingly easy find this one as camped close by had to wait for some muggles to feed the ducks befor the cache could be retrieved. left a Red Nose from a UK charity (had to eat the chocolate that came with it as no foodstuffs to be left in caches, thats my excuse)

smallest cache I've found. the real trick was retriving and replacing it with out being spotted.

first NZ find. stopped in the layby 0.5km away as it was full of chickens, realised that it was still to far away so moved on to the correct one. gps spot on nice eazy find.
left manawatu TB that my wife has been hanging onto since she discovered it wanted to go to NZ.

arrived on first day of campervan trip, 3 tired kids and 2 tired adults, not wearing suitble footwear so unwilling to test the gps accuracy by climing down into the very steep undergrowth. so did not find. but the views over the firth were fantastic.
