Description
We've ll seen them. Boats propped up in properties far from the ocean or other waterways. Surely they are someone's pet project. It's impossible to judge how long it will be until that craft makes it to water. Some rust is often a good clue that it may be a long wait. But let's not be judgemental. Let's just log them for a locationaless find. Please include coordinates, (as we all have a device with us), but if you can't, a good description of the location would suffice.
Logs
Whilst on Russell Island Queensland and doing a week of house sitting there was a boat in the garden with plants in the boat.

I was out caching with WaywardWoman lasy weekend when we spotted this boat going nowhere! It wasn't outside a house... was it owned by someone nearby, or dumped? Strange to see it just on the side of the road. TFTC

If this boat could tell its story.
Story? Many years ago a young enthusiastic fella decided he wanted a boat. Being a handy lad he sought out and obtained some plans. He then threw a whole heap of money at acquiring sheet steel and appropriate tools and spent a bucket load of time to made me to this stage. Then he ran out of spare money, time or enthusiasm so now it appears I will never see the water in a completed condition.

Driving through Railton I spotted this guy fishing. It would appear that the fish aren't biting and he has been there for a while.

This boat has sat in the front yard of this house in Forth in NW Tasmania for many years. Must have been past it a hundred times since this cache was published but never stopped to get the required photo.
It has been named the Brock Pearl!! Don't know the significance of the name but I'm sure there's a story behind it.
Thanks.

S21° 47.053' E114° 10.046' - Mildura Wreck, Mildura Wreck Rd, Exmouth, WA
This wreck is an Historical Landmark. The intriguing sight of the shipwreck of SS Mildura can be seen from the shores of picturesque Lighthouse Bay. Most of the remains were salvaged and used for renovations and the hull was used for bombing practice in World War II.
The SS Mildura was wrecked off the North West Cape in June 1907. The left Fremantle carrying a cargo of cows. After the wreck, the crew got ashore safely but sadly the cows were lost.

This boat will not be seeing any sea water for a long time. It is located in Tibooburra NSW, near the QLD, SA and NSW border.
It is a replica of the oat taken as part of Captain Charles Sturt's 1844-1845 expedition to find the inland sea.

Another boat not going anywhere in a hurry.
We saw this one at the Blackall railway museum on our trip up to QOGM. I’m not sure of the significance of the boat, and the way in which it was exhibited. I was too busy looking for a cache nearby.

Flood Boat - Berry, NSW
A flood boat on display at the Berry museum. The boat is at the rear of the museum & is kept undercover. It was provided by David Berry (1795 - 1889), an agriculturalist & landowner after whom the town was named. Its purpose was to rescue people living on the northern bank of the Shoalhaven River during times of flood. It is made of wood & still sits on the original hand made horse drawn trolley.

This boat is certainly not going anywhere, as it has no bottom in it. It is part of the sandpit at Kidstown, between Shepparton and Mooroopna on the Peter Ross Edwards Causeway..
A delightful playground for children, the dream of Geoff Allemand, who gave up his primary school teaching position to oversee its construction and later manage it. Originally a free playground, now they ask for a gold coin donation to enter, but it is well worth it. Kids of all ages, and abilities will find something to do there,
There are also BBQs available there, as well as covered and shady areas with seating for picnics, or, alternatively, a kiosk and restaurant nearby.
Muggle Hubby obliged for the photo which was taken with my iPad, which doubles as my. GPS.
Thanks for the Locationless Alnic39

We came across this boat during the Bingo game a few years ago (Trial By Ordeal - GA4750). Funnily enough, it actually did go a few places during the game, (Paper Beach to Hobart for example), just none of the trips were on water. Thanks Alnic39 for organising the locationless cache.
We were at the Ballina Maritime Museum and this old timer Richmond boat is no longer going anywhere.

Nerang Qld
The Maid of Sker was built in 1884 in Brisbane and is one of a number of paddle steamers that worked the Nerang River carrying cargo between Brisbane, Southport and Nerang up until 1930. In 1930 the Maid was stripped of all superstructure and used as a gravel barge at Southport, later to be left unused at the gravel depot on the Brisbane River. In 1974 she was towed to the Southport Broadwater and lay there for two years until interest from groups and individuals arranged for the hull to be moved back to Nerang, this time by truck and restoration was completed in 1981. The Maid of Sker now sits as the star attraction in Bishoff Park.

Not sure if the nearby creek will ever get enough water to launch this boat.
Its complete with trailer tyres but no motor.
Think its going nowhere judging by the grass.
Maybe fishing for garbage??

A concrete hulled yacht, on the river flats beside the Forth River, has been under construction for years. During minor flooding, some water would come up to the base of the hull but never posed a threat. This year there were one-in-a-hundred-year floods in the area and the boat had to be moved to higher ground lest it be taken away in the floodwaters. The photo added to the Gallery shows the boat on higher ground close to the main road. This boat is certainly no going anywhere in the near future. Thanks alnic39 for the cache.
This boat is used as an add for the Yarra Bend Park boathouse.
It's not going anywhere in a hurry unless we get about a 30m sea level rise!

PENROSE STATE FOREST
PENROSE, NSW
Back in 2009 I found a landlocked boat in the Penrose State Forest. I had only seen it twice in the one location. I discovered a couple of years ago that there was a write-up in the local paper about it, and how it kept moving around the forest - how bizarre . There was another recent write-up in the paper about it just as mysteriously disappearing . I have been out that way recently to locate a geocache relating to this mysterious boat. Maybe it's the one I saw in Goulburn earlier this year I've got other photos, I just can't find them atm.

I went geocaching in this location earlier this year and saw a landlocked boat in the bush. I went back to the same area to pick up more new caches the other day and I am not sure if it is still there, it was a hot day and I was eager to get another drink and was concentrating on navigating my car across very rocky terrain so I didn't cause issues with the tyres etc, and while I did try to keep an eye out for the boat I didn't see it.
