Attended this event with Marcus Vitruvius and the rest of the clan, and what a huge weekend it was! The best event I’ve been to I think. Well done to everyone involved, especially all the volunteers.

Off around Dorrigo for the day. This was first stop. Quick find, lovely old bridge & river.

Yay ftf! On our way up to port then coffs.... A night stop, easily found with mv's head torch. Hopefully come back here in day light to get a few other caches & look around the area. Thanks for the hide.
Ftf woo hoo.. We were on the way to coffs, got off the highway to do a few. Everyone seems to have a microwave for a mailbox here ...
Stopped at the rest stop, no one on sight.. Then some muggles rocked up! We figured out what we were looking for & got it in the end. Great hide. Time to get some lunch!!!
Searched high & low... Could not find it anywhere... Said hello to the piglets across the rd
On our way to Coffs. This was a quick drive by. MV said hello to a dog hanging round then we were off again. Pity about the carvings on the tree, lovely old tree.

We planned to head to this event and meet some more local cachers. Despite the drizzle it was a good event. Loved the camp oven/fire. Hope to see you all at another event.
I have been past this spot SOOOO many times. It was time to find the cache... We both looked madly, MV made the find and off again around the central coast.
Enjoyed the short walk to the cache, made the find and headed off to the event for the afternoon.

After hearing good things about this cache we set a day aside to get this one and a few others. Talk about an adventure, what an afternoon. After searching for a long needed couch we finally got on to the caching. After completing the first two parts we headed out to GZ. The container was everything we had expected and so we began trying to crack the code. After a few attempts we started to think we were missing something. I suggested we look at the hint, within minutes I had it ..... Signed the log & replaced the cache. I was excited as we finally did it and could now head off fora few more.
MV went to start the car, and .......... Nothing.... We looked at each other and knew it was dead! The batt had been on its way out so I figured it most likely needed replacing. MV's idea to sort this out was to go out on foot and find another cache.. yeah right I wasnt spending the night out there- I had to sort this car out before it got dark!!! Good one MV. So I got NRMA on the job and waited while MV went out leg brace and all to make another find.
As I waited a girl drove up to us who owned a horse on the property. She was coming to move the horse. She checked to see that I was ok & if I needed a jump start. She asked if I was on my own, I replied " No my boyfriend is walking up the road". She laughed and said " Was that him wiht the leg brace on?"... "Ahhh men she said"... I think she was starting to wonder why we were there.I gave her the short version about caching and seemed to have some idea about the cache we had been looking at. She said she would drive back to get MV,but I explained he was unstopable ha ha....
Anyway MV and NRMA soon arrived back and we were back on our way in no time, well just before dark.
So crept into the crypt, crept out again than oh CRAP!!
Thanks Darth Trader for the fantastic cache, we sure won't forget it!

Off to Maitland for the day with MV. As we headed to this one MV said the clue to me and we knew where to look.
22-May-11
After parking at the designated parking spot, we enjoyed the short stroll to GZ. A nice interesting little piece hidden away here.
After a lovley lunch in Brooklyn we headed off for this cache... I like the board walk... A soccer game was on, we had a look, grabbed the cache and headed off agian.
Strange place for a cache, we were headed along the old HWY so this was on our list.
Great lunch/ toilet stop... Lots of bikes!!! Made the find used the facilites and back on the road.
I enjoyed this spot below the bridge and on the great northern walk. We looked about for a bit then spotted the hiding place.
We were headed for the old HWY for a bit of a day trip south. I told MV about OST and quickly made the find.

Completed this one in two parts on two different days. A couple of days ago MV swung by the first series of waypoints. Today, I joined in on the hunt, and after getting to GZ, we knew we were in the right spot. Searched for 10 mins, but couldn't find the cache. It wasn't until we rang a previous finder to make sure we were in fact in the right spot, did they point out how the cache was hidden, and with a second search of the area, we found the cache well buried.
This one was a pretty short stop here today on the way back from Palm Beach, but a nice place to stop. The cache was soon spotted and works well here.
With the day shaping up to clear and sunny, we decided to head over to Palm Beach for a bit of caching. This one was the first on our list and the main one we wanted to find as on a previous visit here, we got 200m into our walk, and got dumped on by torrential rain and had to turn around. Today it was perfect to head up to the lighthouse, and after a great walk and taking in some of the views along the way, we found the track to GZ, and the cache after a short search.
Loved the views, such a nice day too. Thanks
Loved the views, such a nice day too. Thanks
We had been here before with no luck. This time we found it very quickly. Great place to take the pooch.
Great day to go for a walk, so MV and I had a look to see what was nearby, and this one fit perfectly. Wasn't sure of the best access point, but we found a good place to park and off down the trail. Enjoyed the walk to GZ, and once there, the cache was soon located. Lovely little view across the water.
15-May-11
A beautiful Autmumn day. After going for a stroll through the very impressive Bebeah House and gardens, the next stop was this one just up the road. With a couple of muggles sitting on the nearby picnic tables, we carefully creeped in under the trees to GZ, but with so many Autumn leaves on the ground, keeping things quiet was made almost impossible. Searched in a couple of 'obvious' spots until the cache showed itself through the horde of leaves covering it, and then we crunched our way out of the area and on to the next cache. The area here looks really nice in Autumn.
After stopping at Mt Vic to see family, MV and I decided to head to Mt Wilson as today was perfect for a drive, I wanted to show MV the sights and where I used to live as a baby. This was the first one we stopped by at on the way in to town, and after a short search, the cache was found.
Stopped by here on the way home from the Blue Mountains, and after parking right next to GZ, we jumped out and found the cache after a short search.
On a drive through Mt Wilson today, we passed by here and pulled over next to GZ. We jumped out and soon had the cache in hand before we moved on. Plenty of muggles around enjoying the area.
Stayed at Mt Victoria last night and headed off home today back to Newcastle, but not before stopping by a few caches on the way home. Found the access easy enough, and figured there might be some bush bashing...but wasn't expecting the rock formation in the last 25m. Without a fixed knee brace for MV we might have just climbed straight up, but instead had to walk along the face until it became a bit easier. Once we got to GZ, I spotted it straight away. Nice rocky outpost.
On a beautiful day touring around a beautiful part of the Blue Mountains, we stopped by here to see if our answer on the puzzle was correct. Counted down the numbers of steps, and once we were in the right spot, we checked a couple of likely spots until we spotted the cache. We didn't complete the entire walk today, but no doubt we will return as it looks fantastic.
We found this one after looking around GZ for some time. Got there in the end. Nice place to see the ducks. Thanks for your cache
06-May-11
After initially struggling to find the right access point on foot earlier this morning, we came back for a second look with a buggy, and this time we spotted the trail in behind the fenced off construction works. Once we negotiated the restricted access gate, we headed up to GZ where we found the cache, but alas, the cache book and contents were completely soaked. We replaced the cache with a sistema container and new log book in a plastic bag so hopefully this will keep the moisture out. Have kept the old log book and will dry it out so if the owner would like it I'll send it back or put it back in the cache before I leave. We had my uncle with me who we introduced to caching.
05-May-11
After arriving here at midday, We immediately felt the urge to go for walk and explore the area, so with MV joining me, we headed up the trail very slowly, me being unfit and pregnant and MV with a leg brace on after an injury the day beforee. Once at GZ, the view instantly made the struggle up here all worthwhile. Found the most likely place where the cache was, and replaced it with a new container and log book. The walk back down proved more difficult sliding on the loose stones, but once back at the buggy, we could sit back and relax and enjoy the feeling of finding our first Queensland cache. I'm sure the couple of walkers passing by must of thought MV was out of his mind limping all the way up there...but we both enjoyed it

The last stop for the day on the way home from Mt Victoria, and after parking at the rest stop, we headed off towards GZ much to the strange looks from nearby muggles. Once we were at the right spot, the cache was soon spotted.
Stopped off to this one on the way home from Mt Victoria today, and what at first looked like a bit of a bush bash, was actually a nice short walk. Was certainly surprised by the hole, and even more so by the restricted access method they've used here. A short hunt and the cache was found, but getting it out proved to be very difficult as the cache pushed almost an arm's length into it's godet hole, and was wedged in tight. Interesting location though.
On a day of caching around Katoomba, we stopped off here to grab this one, but weren't expecting such breathtaking views. After making our down to the lookout and taking in the wonderful views, we waited until the nearby muggles left before wandering over to find the cache. It was great to sit and sign the log at such a wonderful spot.
We happened to be passing by WP1 on the way to another cache and decided to grab the required info and find out where GZ was. Finding the info at WP1 was a little confusing at first since the sign on the cache page is longer there. Figuring that the new sign wouldn't change the distance, we used that and headed off to GZ. As it turned out, we parked at the cafe, wandered over and found the cache, and then returned to have a bite to eat at the cafe...which wad great. A very nice caching experience all round.
After spending the night at Mum's nearby, MV and I stopped by here on the way home. There were a few muggles out today, but none anywhere near GZ, which made the finding of the cache nice and relaxing. Wonderful spot up here.
Stopped by here on the way home from Mt Victoria, and whilst we were on the wrong side of the road, we parked the car, and walked across to GZ. Didn't spend too long searching before the cache was spotted, and we enjoyed the nice camo.
