Revisiting the first cache I was involved with, setting it up with my brother in 2004.
Replaced the box with a larger one, so I could drop off TB The Brick, which has been with me for far too long.

Nice find on a glorious cool sunny day.
Introduced new TB Berbulu at the station platform for his long voyage, waiting for a train.
Took spider.

Interesting to find a station even more derelict than the one in my village (Leigh Court, Worcestershire, UK) which was axed by Beeching in 1963.
Admired the many varied spoil heaps and also the Carripook Cube, which must rank as a must-see alongside Sturt's Dunny.
Took bow tie, left Hahndorf crab

Nice and simple first find on trip to SA from England. Chinese couple pushing each other on the swings. Busker with a bush hat and banjo at the entry to the park. Left poppy and took the crab. TFTC

Boothby Skippy was found in a cache somewhere in South Australia, one of many placed by Team Skippy and Lamb Chops. My father Octogenerian who died soon afterwards, gave me his tag which I gave to BS. I was asked to take him away from South Australia in case Team S & LC felt it out of order to send one of their skippies travelling. He therefore went to Singapore and took the first plane back to Oz!
He managed to get to Sydney and successfully crossed the Pacific into America. His last known resting place was "This Place Smells Like S***" in Texas, where the box was muggled and all contents lost.
It would be nice to bring him back to a final resting place in his homeland Australia.

Kookie is the first of my travel bugs. When intoduced to caching by my brother Miray in 2004, I found this kookaburra in a wildlife sanctuary near Adelaide and took him back with me to the UK, made him up a passport and travel bug tag and he sat on the wall for a year before being released in England for the long trek back to Oz, with instructions to feed him snakes on the way.
He made it to Essex, where the box he was in was muggled and the cache replaced and resited.
Now I will bury him back in his homeland Australia in the hope that whoever took him puts him in a place where maybe a loving soul will take him in and feed him snakes until someone recognises the tag and releases him back...

Another one found while travelling with Miray. Was out looking for kangaroos and found instead these emus.
Skippy and Lamb Chops visited this cache just before us and left a skippy. I took the skippy and made it up to TB on a voyage round the world, far from Australia, in the search for his mates worldwide.

Found this site travelling with Miray on the way back from the Frances Folk Gathering. Nice site and interestingly hidden. The wetlands from here seemed somewhat dry, and the wading birds were paddling. Sensible waterfowl use the area further out near the hide which is a sanctuary for bees who are not purturbed by the bird watchers. Took the Northern Territory mozzie trap and left a pair of folding scissors.

Stopped by here to set TB Joilion on his way home to Malvern in the UK. Took woven bag to give to namesake in the Philippines.
I helped Miray set up this site a year ago, so I knew exactly where it was.

[Found the cache with no difficulty working in a team with Miray and Octo Genarian, where the latter was working from a cafe, Jeff Tracy style while us others did the walking.
Opening it was another matter.] The Girl Guides was straight forward enough, but seemed to give the wrong answer for the arithmetic. No idea what I was looking for at the vet, but I didn't find it. As for the brick chimneys - well they might have been brick under the render and whether you count two chimneys on a semi as two or two halves is debateable. [Miray is now checking the maths to see which answers we got wrong. I opened the box in the end by trying all combinations until one opened the lock.
I took out a plastic bee and put in a Pershore Rag Week furry bug with a red nose. Can anyone guess where Pershore College actually is?]

I went to this one with Miray. Found the railway lines and then was directed into the woods by the GPS. Trying hard to think how a screwtop container could be disguised by fire-charred stumps and clumps of grass. Will have to go back and try again when the satellites are better placed
[Found this one easily with Miray. Quite a nice location, complete with bush-fire victim. Joilion visited the cache and made friends with the little girl and the pink sea horse, but was worried about a report that once the container was not too well hidden ]also lions, unlike tigers cannot climb trees!
[So I left a pair of Chinese folding scissors and took a red and yellow dinosaur.]
