This is the Baldhill Dam near Valley City, ND. It holds back the Maple River and its manmade lake: Lake Ashtabula. The spillway crest is 120 ft long at elevation 1,252.0 ft, surmounted by 3 taintor gates, each 15 ft high and 40 ft long. Construction was completed in 1951. 
 
This is the Corner Cafe in Buffalo, ND. It looks like the stuck a small building front onto the hut and made themselves a rather roomy restraunt.

Located in Bemidji, Minnesota. This is right next to the famous (and often photographed) statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. Nowadays the building is known as The Art Center. It hosts displays by artists as well as being the venue for local musical talents.

This bandshell was built in the 1940's and refurbished in 1997. It is located in International Falls, MN.

The Dike West skate park in Fargo, ND. This popular park resides near the Red River. 
 
This is Festival Concert Hall on the campus of NDSU. The FM Symphony Orchestra from Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN plays there concerts in this auditorium.

Sundown Pet Cemetery. While I was taking the picture of the tombstones I heard a jingling behind me. It was windy and some of the flowers and decorations were making noise, but this jingling was moving left to right. I turned to see a large chocolate lab jogging by... and no owner. I thought, "Hmmm, that's odd, a stray dog at the pet cemetery." Perhaps this handsome puppy wasn't really there at all... (insert spooky music here) 
 
This Minuteman 2 missile is located in the parking lot of the Fargo Air Museum in Fargo, ND. A relic of the cold war, this missile was capable of intercontinental flight. 
 
This jet is just inside the entrance to the National Guard post in Fargo, ND. As you can see, security kept me some distance away.
