Out for a tour with the grandchildren before returning to Europa. A very nice area and our first look at a real KOALA.
Easy find. Left: Nurses geocoin, Took nothing

Oops! Forgot to log the Globetrotter TB.

Only 160 meters from our holiday home to the first point. And then we had a lovely walk in the morning sun. Found the spot and searched for about halv an hour when an Aussie cacher materialized from the bush and started to seach the aussie way without any thought for the snakes and spiders with we have been told are everywhere. Using his bare hands he then gave us a lesson in how to find a cache in no time without moving leaves around with sticks.
Anyway, we are very happy for our TTF on this one.
Left: The Globetrotter who will now start on it's way around the globe.

Second cache of the day and also the second multi. We had to walk the walkway up and down a couple of times to collect the info. Then the first "cache" we found was a boat motor under some rocks on the side very close to GZ. After getting sure there was no spare hole anywhere inside the motor we continuede our search and eventually found the cache .
No trade. TFTC

This was our fourth and last for today together with wpc trimix and one of their dogs. The dog just don't want to learn how to search for plastic boxes without meat! Fantastic view out to the big nest and all ships that looked like waiting for a place in the harbor. Mrs trimix made the swap of the day, lost 20% in the exchange. TFTC

The second on our walking tour in the area. No trade

On the way back to our Australia base in Perth, after spending easter in the bush, we stopped at this site for a fast search. Sorry to say, it was not that inspiring to enter the tree area because of all the garbage left there, but the cache was hidden in a cleaner place and in good order.

On the way back south from MOA, the offroaders paradice, we needed a break and stopped for this cache. We searched for too long a time in this bad choice of a cache place before continiuing the travel to nicer places.

A very interresting ruin that looked just like the old ruins of the same type we have seen in northern Sweden.
Hot and windy day on route to he sea from hot inland.

After an hour of ballgame with the dogs on the beach it was time to go for this cache only 380 meters away. Never try to go stait to a cache in a reserv in Australia. It's fences everywhere and signs about snakes waiting for you. After some backtracking we found the gate and the correct track to this very nice viewpoint.
Found together with mrs wpc trimix and her dogs.

Walked on the beach together with wpc trimix, jumping and climbing over rocks and through lose sand. The cache was easy to find when reaching GZ. Walked back the nice and shady track where mrs HackiB was waiting.
Left: Cyprus coin (not in usa any longer, Cyprus joined the euro zone)
Out: Nothing

Drove the 4x4 down to the parking place and set out on foot. There are some amazing views along this track and we really enjoyed this early morning walk. Great fun going down the steep sand dune. Found the cache quickly, logged, and on our way we went. Fascinating geological change from hard red surface to slippery white sand. And talking of sand, the trek up those dunes was no joke! Back at the car we enjoyed a well earned cup of coffee and watched the surfers for a while. Thanks Virjohn for showing us this lovely and interesting site.
Took egg container, left old Cypriot coin.
Greetings from Cyprus.

Left mrs HackiB and Frank (mr wcp trimix) with the car and went to log this cache only 200 meters away from the road. They had to wait a long time for us, me and mrs wpc trimix, because the track to the cache was not as strait as we initially had thought.
The wiev from the cache was really astonishing. A lot of sails on boats and surfers and water, water, water. The waiting party had spotted dolphins during their rest.

After a late lunch nearby we decided to go for this cache as the last one on this cache and wine trip from Perth over the weekend together with wpc trimix.
The jetty was really long. Should have reached from shore to shore in the lake at our summerplace in Sweden.
Easy find.

Started out on the track when we noticed that the surfers had their own entrance to the beach. Slipping and sliding in the loose sand we followed them down. What a beautiful beach; white soft sand, sea-green waves breaking to the left of us, sunny clear skies and a cooling breeze. The only fly in the ointment was the flies! More than we have met so far during our stay here. We found the cache with ease. The little hole in the box is still there. Thank you so much Bush Rangers for this lovely location.

04-Apr-09
This was our fourth and last cache of the day. We drove through this magnificent forest which elicited oohhs and aahhs at every turn. We're not used to such tall, stately trees in Cyprus. Once again, thank you Eric and Sonja for showing us all these beautiful places. We will carry the memories with us forever.
Took nothing but left a Cyprus coin.

What an amazing spot, wild and beautiful. We drove our 4x4 all the way down on a really rough track, which was an adventure in itself. There were a lot of fishermen about. We walked and jumped over the stones until the trusty GPS told us it was time to start looking around. The rest of the crew started searching while I couldn't take my eyes off the rugged coastline. I took a lot of photos while waiting for the rest to join me for the return to the car. You have inherited a really fantastic cache, Eric and Sonja. Thank you for keeping it alive for the likes of us to come to this beautiful coast.
In Cypriot coin, out pin and tennis ball.

During the weekend we embarked on a caching/bush camping trip down to Margaret River. We parked at the suggested spot and walked along one of the beautiful tracks. The forest was full of sounds and the track soft from all the fallen leaves and bark. We found the cache quickly, took nothing but left a TB that we brought from Cyprus and that is just starting its journey around the world. Thank you Eric and Sonja for bringing us to this lovely part of your exciting country. Greetings from Cyprus.

You're absolutely right! This camp site is very good. We are amazed at how well organized all camp sites in this part of the world are with first class amenities. On the road to this one we met a lot of cyclists, they were some 2,000 of them doing a round trip this weekend. A great country for cycling. In Cyprus, where we come from, we have nothing but steep hills. The cache was quickly found and we managed not to attract any attention from all the muggles milling about. Thank you anonymous legion for placing a cache here.

Fast and easy find during a dog walk together with wpc trimix.
I'm sure it will look lovely here when there is water in the lake. Today it was dried out.
Took nothing but left TB.

A very clever hide. Unfortunately we didn't have a pen with us so couldn't log. We have to return at a later date to sign the log paper, which was nice and dry.
TFTC and greetings from Cyprus.

On a walk from our temporary home we search for wp1 for nearly 45 minutes without luck. As for others, the coords were 7 meters away from the "hint"-location. Nice walk anyway with some up- and down-hills easy for us used to a very mountainios iland. TFTW (thanks for the walk).
