Wahoo time for a joint (FTF) today following a wonderful event held by the CO. Hubby and & I decided to travel to this cache first before heading towards the other 3 released at the same time. All good here, looked great in the rural setting. Favourite given for bring greeted with a blank log.

Yippee - I have now completed the Viking Helmet. Great to be on a Viking geoart day trip roadie with JEANJEANIE and TWIGNZ. All good here. Thanks so much watcache for the enjoyable puzzle solving series. Fav given for the geoart series and for this cache being the final cache required to complete.

Im on a Viking Helmet roadie with TWIGNZ and JEANJEANIE. So an early start this morning with them to have a crack so they can complete the geoart today. I only have 2 caches left to find in this series, and this was one of the two I needed today. Up a long gravel road in the middle of nowhere, plus with wandering stock, with no other caches in cooee, but soon we had success. Time for a cuppa here and enjoy the view. Fav given for the view here today, my first cache required today and the penultimate cache in the series. Thanks watcache for the great puzzle series.

Signed and replaced as found. Thanks for bringing us up here, no canine in tow today to enjoy the environs but a few muggles & their canines away in the distance enjoying the park.

Yay, it was worthwhile to come over to Friendly Feilding to complete the new Waymarking Adlab. So nice to complete, and have the (FTF) in the early morning light, watching the town become alive. The adlab has taken us to places in Feilding which we had previously missed. Log signed and replaced as found. Now onto checking out and having a coffee at the Two Locals Cafe. Thanks Phronomis for having a adlab bonus cache. Favourite given as we were FTF this cache.

16-Oct-24
Out and about up in this area catching up with a friend, on a very cool breezy morning. Cache all good, signed and replaced as found. A good stock of books here today. I have enough reading matter on the go at the moment, so dont need to add to my list, plus I forgot to bring a book to add to this collection. Never mind, I will be back when I have finished the couple of books on the go & can maybe swap another one book out.

All good here, had solved this one a wee while ago when a few of us were attending another local event, but today was the day we were visiting Feilding & meeting up with friends from out of town for the craft market. All good here, very clever so have given a favourite. Thanks for placing this cache here.

Thanks for arranging this event- once daylight saving starts in NZ it sure is time for summer. Aiming to be here x2

01-Oct-24
We have often sent postcards with a few sentences about our current travels to younger members in the family group when we are away overseas. We like that they will get some excitement of actually receiving mail specifically addressed to them, and they can then learn more about the country we have visited by checking out the atlas or using our friend Google and seeing where in the world the country or icon is located. Sometimes the old fashioned snail mail has its uses in this way. Not everything has to be on insta or FB. A lovely turnout today at the caching local for an event celebrating world postcard day. It was nice catching up with attendees and getting a few pointers on a couple of caches I have my eyes on. Thanks for arranging the event today.

Joint (FTF) after attending the local event nearby at the local cafe, celebrating world postcard day.

A (FTF), with others after attending the local event celebrating the start of daylight saving season. Thanks TWIGNZ for having another cache in the area.

Thanks for setting up this event TWIGNZ, arrived a bit before time to find the cafe was not ready for the group of us waiting for coffee. Anyway, soon able to nip inside & order a scone & coffee. Headed for the trackable table & began the task of getting a photo so can log later. Great to catch up with many. Nice to see a huge turnout. The coffee machine & kitchen seemed to be going constantly. Discovered another trackable container later in the morning, so pen & paper for listing those ones.

25-Sep-24
Well this deserves a favourite as a fb call went out that a TOT would be available for a short period of time to access this cache this evening. So, with a great turnout of local and welly crew members, arrived in dribs & drabs to ensure that we all could marvel at how the scissor lift gave us the opportunity to individually sign the log, then watch it being returned. Thanks for the opportunity to obtain this cache. Glad I was able to stay on terra firma here this evening as the strong blustery cold Rangitikei winds swirled around us all. Favourite given.

21-Sep-24
Thanks for arranging this event. Great to celebrate a bday occasion. Had a nice cuppa & cinnamon scroll. Meet a lovely couple from USA travelling through to Wellington, then onto Queenstown.

Nice find as on our way back from Taupo so a timely place to stop and complete the local adlab and then check out where this cache was lurking. Quickly retrieved, signed and replaced as found. Today we could also observe a couple of defence helos flying around. Thanks capperz for having a bonus cache for the interesting Waiouru adlab.

Are staying nearby for a couple of nights having a bit of r&r, and catching up with long time friends later in the day, so walked into town to get much needed extra supplies. Not a bad day for walking, although a few more white caps appeared as the day got longer. Thanks for having another virtual here in Taupo.
