Logs for LoobyLulu

28-Jun-15
Found it but the container had fallen and was not reachable Sad

After having a crack at this one a couple years back and failing, PippyHalfRat and I decided it was time to revisit this interesting cache and finally find it! We brought along Sister Cate and Beeper as our chauffeur but Sister caught on almost immediately. Great hide, the hint really helped!

The last cache on the adventure of PippyHalfRat and I. Found it but it sadly hadn't been hidden properly. We mad sure there was something covering it then returned to admiring all the lovely houses in the area.

05-Jan-14
Our last cache for the day! Great hide very good camo! TFTC

The first on the spree with Sista Cate, Rossie Relic, the Geo Cousins, Millsy2603, Pippyhalfrat and Mogmot nice scenery; now I understand the name!

Number four! A great find as we looked through all the nooks and crannies. TFTC

*WARNING*
Snakes are off the beaten track. Do not be tempted to use shortcuts. There were a few screams as we saw a snake! But great hide TFTC

The second find of the day with the family cachers. Great puzzle. Very fun! TFTC

Wow very impressive hide! Very difficult to be surreptitious with so many muggles. PippyHalfRat decided to look at a canoe to hide our logging. TFTC

28-Oct-13
Found the last one at the park next to my house! Great that i dont have to travel far for some fun and did a spree of caches in my suburb and found lots of parks and open spaces! TFTC! With PippyHalfRat

The third in the geocaching storm with PippyHalfRat. We found it difficult with so many muggles around on foot, bicycle and car but in the end we got it! Great hide!! TFTC ☺️

Well what can i say this was a great cache. Its a shame we went along with two short-ish people so a stick did come in handy. I love the camo and the fact it was like a nest in a tree. TFTC the fifth on the geocaching trip with PippyHalfRat

How.. Where.. I dont even know what to write. Im not sure if this was a really hard cache or it was just the fact that we didnt realise that we had to decrypt the clue. We were googling hapbex and going all over the place. The 4th of the run with PippyHalfRat

Just as we were giving up i put my hand in and pulled it out. I read comments of spiders but had no problem. We were getting tired out and nearly at the end of the if the geocaching round. Number 6 on our spree with PippyHalfRat

The first on our geocaching rampage with PippyHalfRat through Inglewood and a good one indeed. Had been here before and was looking for an old geocache that must have been archived but stumbled upon this while we were there. Nice park that is very familiar and nice shade to sit under and write logs. TFTC

The second on the rampage with PippyHalfRat and a great hide but after arrival realised we had already been there but not logged our visit. TFTC

Great find TFTC! Second last on the geocaching spree with PippyHalfRat!

21-Aug-13
Our third cache for the day and the clues helped us along as we weren't sure where we were going at first. I loved the hide and one of the swappable toys. TFTC!

After the slight detour we took into the airport to look at the history inside we went and watched a helicopter take off before going to find the actual cache and had a great time looking at a tree that had been bent and battered making a great seat. Another cool hide and a fantastic last cache for the day! TFTC!

As we wondered down the path on our geo-caching spree we found the bunka where the engines used to be and found this one in two seconds flat. Quite a good hide for kids as its not too hard! TFTC!

As the first cache of the day we were overflowing with patience and thanks to the help from a nearby worker we found it although the coordinates were a little out at first. We knew it was a good hide because it took us a while to find! TFTC! And onto the next cache we go.

20-Aug-13
This time Millsy2603 and I ran ahead of Sista Cate, Pippyhalfrat and Rossie Relic as we already knew where to look. We found it with ease using my brains and Millsy's arms! TFTC!

As we rode and trekked to the lighthouse we realised there was a clue in the name and stopped in our tracks. It was an easy find for Millsy2603 who ran straight towards the cache without help of a compass or live map. The log book was a bit damp and may need attention but overall great fun! TFTC! First one in the Rottnest series for us and onto the next one Millsy2603, Pippyhalfrat and I go.

2nd cache for the day and another easy find for Millsy2603, again finding the cache without the use of GPS while Pippyhalfrat and I stayed behind using the live map. Another cache with a clue in the name and a great clue it was! As we looked we found the log book running out of paper and thought it may need some more. TFTC! And off to the next grand adventure we go!

This cache we thoroughly enjoyed as there is some rich history on the way and we also loved the scenery; especially one particular tree nearby the cache. Another thing we thought was cool was the container! We wondered how to open it but eventually got it! TFTC! Also left behind our signature monkey tree nut as the cache is so big!

26-Jan-13
Another surprising cache adventure began at the karridale cemetery when whilst deciphering the code we realised that those pesky thought-to-be muggles were not muggles at all. They were the GeoGypsies. PippyHalfRat explained to SistaCate, Decmillrat, Stevo and myself that you can't simply help other geo cachers it is against the rules so until they left we tried to be surreptitious. When they finally left us hawks moved in to take a look at our treasure. Sorry for the late log! tftc Wink

29-Dec-12
Pippyhalfrat,SistaCate and I decided to take a look at this interesting cache and found with ease.

The third cache had already been found by Pippyhalfrat but she decided to let me try. Had found the cache and was writing in the log book when all of a sudden a bus of muggles turned up. Had to be careful when putting it back but successfully fooled them into thinking i was looking at the local flora.

My first cache after getting an account was found on Boxing Day with SistaCate and Pippyhalfrat. For us the clue was a real give away and we were heading towards the geocache straight away. Took smiley badge and swapped with a monkeypuzzle tree nut.

4th cache for the day with Pippyhalfrat, SistaCate and LoobyLulu. It was very hot and there was high muggle activity so looking for the cache was a bit of a trial. Once we read that it wasn't in the gazebo we found it much easier. We pretended to be reading the plaques and after the muggles decided that we werent too strange we headed for the cache. Still wondering if the muggles noticed that we read the same plaqes about 5 times each. But anyway...

Found the cache then walked the labyrinth with SistaCate while Pippyhalfrat sorted out the log book. We felt peace as soon as we walked out of the labyrinth and felt very relaxed. Very quick find 'easy peasy lemon squeezy'.Great fun! TFTC LoobyLulu
