The original site for the Baylor Female College was in Independence, Texas, but it was later moved to its current location in Belton, Tx. The College is now known as the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I choose this site because this is were I go to school. There are plaques all over the campus with little tidbits of historical information. The picture that I took are of the Luther Memorial and of a sign were the Cottage home used to be becuase it is no longer there. I also took another picture of a plaque that is a little difficult to read, but it reads "Balyor Female College Independence 1845" If you want to find out more about the school go to the school website at www.umhb.edu TFTC

Calculated these coordinates earlier today so that we could do it tonight. I used the year=05, month=12, hour=20, minute=37. I have tried this one before, but the coordinates that I came up with were in someone's backyard. This time it worked though. The above coordinates take you to a location on the campus of Texas A&M University. It was dark outside so therefore there are no surrounding area pictures. Maybe I'll go back in the day light and take some pictures of what was around me although I was just in a field right off a sidewalk.

We were out caching in College Station, TX back on 8/1/05 and we got a parking ticket on Texas A&M University campus becuase we parked in a parking lot that you were supposed to have a parking permit for. We thought that we would be ok parking there considering it was the summer and it was 8:00 at night, but apparently that doesn't matter. We were looking for the geocache Avenger which I am glad to say that we found because this was like our third time to go looking for this cache.

College Station, TX in the Academic Building on Texas A&M University campus. The bell is in the rotunda of the building and i had to go up to the 2nd floor to get a good picture of the bell. The coordinates listed are from in front of the building in which the bell is located in.

College Station Texas. Texas A&M Univeristy Campus. The sundial is calibrated to the coordinates.

College Station, Tx. Texas A&M campus. We were looking for another locationless cache in the area and drove by this one. I though that it was some sort of star chart or something. I didn't think that we were going to be able to use it for a cache of any kind but then I started looking at this cache. I looked up the web site that tells you where all the sundials are in North America. I was surprised to find out that we were at the one that it had on the web site. Luckily we did take a picture and get the coordinates. I thought that would have been logged but it was not.

College Station Texas. Found this one behind a church on the south side. Checked and made sure that it had not be logged yet. Had fun finding our way through it.

Bryan/College Station, Texas. This was our first locationless cache. We found it using a mapping software. Tried taking a picture with the GPS and the coordinates but the camera wouldn't focus right, but it worked out anyways.

Minute Maid Park. Houston Astros. We were at the game on this day on the club level. The Houston Astros were playing the St. Louis Cardinals. History was about to be made, because the Astros were going to thier first ever World Series. They had the Cards down 3 games to 1, in a best of 7. We were ahead by two runs and there were two outs in the top of the 9th inning. Pujols was up to bat against our best closer. Down two strikes with the pitch on the way, I thought to my self. They are really going to do it. I have been an Astros fan al my life and was really into the moment. We took this pictures right before Pujols hit the ball to the glass above the seats. The crowd got quiet and now we were down in runs. We were caching that day and got to go to the game at the last minute. Even though they lost I'm glad that we went. We ended up beating the Cards the next game in St. Louis.
