Logs for Magneto

Serious magnet... bet that didn't come out of a laptop drive.

Just like Freeway Frustration I looked at the map and thought "easy, on the bike path". And just like Freeway Frustration, it wasn't the bike path I assumed. Took two visits.

Well hidden. I've ridden past here hundreds of times and never knew about this little park. No travel bug found. Took torch, left earbud torch/radio.

Excellent hide! This is a beautiful little area of parkland that I had no idea existed. The bike track back toward the west of the bridge is very technical and enjoyable.

Found on third visit. TLNL, container very full.

Ah, there it is. Took manga notebook, left nifty Kyocera "One Paper Cutter" - single-page-length ceramic blade in plastic holder cuts through one piece of paper at a time, for clipping from newspapers etc. - be quick cachers, I bought it in Kinokuniya Stationery in Tokyo and it's a neat swap.

Got it! Not so hard but compact. Left guitar pick, took bouncy ball.

After a hint from Biggles Bear I found the first clue OK, or rather the Geoquacks did just as I arrived. Very furtive they looked too, waiting for the cyclist (me) to go away. I passed by later and saw them wandering about perplexed. When I came back I was too - out in the open with no hiding places. Four stars for difficulty, definitely.

Found it, difficult hiding spot because the cache container is weathering to look like its surrounds. Not so many people about - one other guy walking past had an eTrex around his neck but wasn't looking for the same thing.
Left US 1$ bill, took plastic dinosaur kit (Yowie?).

Another great cache from Biggles Bear and my first for the day. Took space blanket out, put something in but sure can't remember what - it's in the log anyway. I was sure I was going to need the space blanket to wrap my camera backpack in, rain threatening but it didn't happen.

Second for the day, and my second try at this one. Brilliant hiding place and container. The name makes sense now... Left pocket screwdriver thingy, took army can opener (must be the FRED - what does it stand for?). Thanks maccamob!

Great cache in a beautiful area. As it was my last for the day I cleaned out my pockets - left a few things including The Sims CD for Macintosh - got it free, can't use it. Took spotted mouse. I got pretty lost on this one, did it the hard way on my bike and probably covered 4km from the first point to the cache itself. Beautiful wildlife here too. Go carefully climbing for this one, I think 100kg is definitely the limit for that tree branch - it creaked for me.

Got it! First cache found Big Grin and it was well hidden, very safe from casual observation. Left guitar pick, U.S. quarter, took photo & sharpener. Use the lower of the two phone numbers on the sign at GZ1 to get GZ2 or you'll get covered in burrs and spider webs like me.
