Logs for Platabeen

Platabeen Rovers Found it once again but... it was found by different crew members - (Simon, Bethany, Kate, Lee Roy, Kirsty and Jenny). The purpose of this cache was to drop off a long over due Teddy Bear TB. After many failed attempts at new caches and the rain setting in we decided to drop the bug off at a cache a couple of us new. A drink at the local pub was next on our to do list. Thanks again (We took a toy shark)

Platabeen Rovers Found It!!! (Bethany, Joel and Alysha.) Bethany almost stepped on a python (or some sort of massive snake) on the way to the Duck Holes Cache to retrieve the Bug Bear TB. Luckily we had left the dog Jetson back with Rod in the car. We had a great bush walk and left a Variety Bash key ring. Our advise is always watch where you step!!
Platabeen Rovers found it!!! We started from a random section on McCarrs Ck Rd where we could park the car. We went for a soild 45 min bush bash which was fun only to end up on a tar road!!! We had no idea where this cache was but once we got to the right place it was fairly obvious. The cashe guard gave us a bit of a scare but was a good laugh afterwards. (Found by Bethany, Joel, Rod, Alysha and Jetson (the dog))

Platabeen Rovers - Bethany & Simon returned today to leave a very special travel bug - Wave Finder. After travelling up the coast to Little Beach, it was time to return to the northern beaches for someone else. Happy surfing!!!

Its Platabeen Rovers first virgin cache and what a great view of the ocean. We found the TB "wave-finder" and are planning to help it continue its mission within the week. In return we left a water pistol seahorse tring to keep with the caches surfing theme. Its an awesome cache that has grownup and kid friendly 'treasures' one of the best caches yet. - By Simon and Bethany

Platabeen Rovers - Simon, Bethany, Annie and James found it. We looked once coulden't find it left and come back and there it was hidden away, couldn't believe it took us 2 attempts!! Great cache nice and close to the pub. Left a key ring and took a baby cheese grater.
Found by Platabeen rovers - Bethany, Simon, James, Annie and Lucy. What a nice day for a walk! Found this one after a while but wasn't too hard. We think the hospital is in a great spot and should stay!!!
Platabeen Rovers - Bethany, Simon, Annie and James Found it. Must have chosen the hardest way to get there! We almost got spotted be a crazy Farmer after jumping his fence after getting lost in the thick bush. Bush bashed up the hill to find an awesome cache, packed with great stuff. We left a key ring and took some glitter glue pens. Bush bashed back down the hill to end up stuck in lantana. Got back to the car battered and bruised but what fun we all had.
30-Jun-03
Probably not the best idea to attempt this one on a wet night with lightening all around but our group of 7 started at the bottom and 4 made it to the cache.
More fun (& time consuming) to bush bash back down to the car. 2 of the boys fell down a few cliffs on the way but luckily no broken bones.
An enjoyable evening had by all.
