Logs for Rivers

Found it - at last @ 1430! 32+deg and I must have walked around the cache I don't know how many times [:p] Quite a nice walk through the bush (if you go like to go that way) even at this time of year. Cache is well hidden and in good condition.
Took: Crazy Ball Left: screwdriver and calling card.

Thanks.

Working in the neighbourhood, I thought I'd come have a look. Beaut view [^] - not a cloud to be seen.

Coords are spot on - didn't need the photo to. Cache is in good condition.

Took the screwdriver and left the tape measure and calling card.

Cheers.

Well, what a job finding this one! With a little help from previous hunters, I managed to find two clues and finally got there! Keep an eye open when looking for clues - some of them (like the second one I found) are guarded by reptiles! Check the photo for yourself...
Left a Swan River Trust keyring and calling card and took nothing.
Cheers...

0830: Had a bit of time before work so off I went for a walk. Yep - there's no view better than the Aussie bush. Looking forward to a return visit when the creek is running.

Coords are spot on!
Took Aussie Coasters
Left Disney World Stamp and calling card.

Cache is in good condition.

Cheers.......

Certainly a great view...
If I had started below, this would've been much easier.
Good fun none the less
Took the tape and left the Aussie Coasters and calling card.

Cheers

1700: Aptly named site - mind you, alot of our bush is lacking this kind of vegetation that helps keep it in a healthy state.
Great view. The cache isn't in a good state with most of the contents being mouldy. I drained the water (almost an inch worth) cleaned out what I could and returned it to its resting place (upside down - hoping that any future rain won't fill it as quickly). If you get the chance, let it dry out when you visit next - today wasn't the ideal day with the prospect of rain.
Took nothing and left my calling card.

Cheers...

Found it - can't believe that I used to live less than 100m from this spot!
Today again its a nice quiet spot again. Being my first find and not knowing what to find in the cache, I didn't take anything, but left enough to get some nearby relief.

Well, what a cache. The original coords are out a bit but those left by "The Trekkers" is spot on. Without the photo though I wouldn't have found it. Well worth the 5k ride from home and back - twice!

Took the bell for my daughters bike, the Disney Stamp for the heck of it and left a hexi stove with stacks of hexamine tablets...this is the real reason I took the Disney Stamp.

Seasons greetings and all the best for the New Year.
I visited the site and followed the directions - got to within 4 meters of the cache site but as has been mentioned by Wayne & Kathryn in September, the cache is nowhere to be found. Spent about an hour looking around and mainly downstream of the site - all with no luck.
For those interested in the area, revegetation and weed removal works are in place all along the river.
Here are two shots of the area as at Dec. 30.

Now to try for another geocache.....
