I found it right
where I knew it would not be...
I guess I should know better,
Silly, silly, me...
where I knew it would not be...
I guess I should know better,
Silly, silly, me...

[green]Grass comes from green grass eggs,
that are dropped from the sky,
a gift from green ostriches,
that are tought young how to fly.[/green]

I laughed, I ran,
[blue]I[/blue] crawled, I cried,
I vowed to find it
before I died.
At about 100 hints,
and 1200 moves
I was making progress
and [blue]found[/blue] a groove.
No bush or fence
went unturned
[blue]Each[/blue] measly point
was severely earned.
Just [blue]one[/blue] request
now that I’m through.
Make sure I’m dead
before Z-Cache-Two.
A milestone for me. This completes the city. I have found every Davis Cache!

[B][PURPLE] FREE AT LAST! FREE AT LAST! THANK HEMLOCK AND KRYPTON, I'M FREE AT LAST![/B][/PURPLE]
Oh,...wait. I still have that pesky bonus cache to complete. Oh, well.
Thanks to Yamar and the Blue Team for holding my hand through this one. When it comes to virtual caching, I've decided I pretty much suck at it.

This tiny one room jail was built in 1871. It can be found in a tiny little town in California's gold country called Volcano. At one time, during the height of the gold rush, Volcano boasted the largest population in California. It was under consideration to be the state Capital. Once the gold ran out this town quickly dwindled and now has a population of 100.
I lived here as a kid for seven years, and had a great time.
This tiny jail is wood on the outside with a solid iron interior lining. It must have been miserable in very hot or cold conditions.

I have had this one on my "to-do" list for months and could never find an appropriate entry. Finally, today, while Geocaching in the town of Plymouth, California I found something I could sink my teeth in to. Empire Street. I'm sure only the most cruel and heartless minions of the Empire live here!

This Pony Express Station Marker "Solano House" is in Davis, California. Pictured are my two daughter being very serious in their duties as cache models.

The Old Winters Opera House still operates as a music venue now called "The Palms". It is part of a building called the Cradwick building which suffered extensive damage (and one fatality) in 1892. Winters is a quaint little town in the cental valley of California between Sacramento and San Francisco.
This Topiary Panda sits outside the new Panda Express Restaraunt in Davis, CA. Neaby are two topiary baby pandas.
Some nice photos of The Monticello Dam that empties into Putah Creek from the lake Berryessa Resevoir. This damn borders the counties of Napa, Yolo, and Solano in the central valley of California. The generating capacity is 11.5 M.W. The damn was completed in 1983. Also included is a photo of "The Glory Hole" which serves as an overflow valve when the water is high. In this picture the water is low, so no water is flowing over it.

"Faithful Partner" is a statue on the grounds of the U.C. Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. This beautiful statue is a tribute to dogs that died in the line of duty for California state law inforcement.

This mini-maze is located at Birch Lane Elementary School in Davis, CA. It is hard to get lost in it, but it does add a point of interest to the grounds.

Along the Sacramento River in Sacramento California.
I thought this tree looked like a stern or angry face in profile. I attempted to immitate the face on the tree with my own expression. There's probably a reason I never made it in Hollywood.
