The Trip: Brisbane to Townsville. Delivering a car, bought in Brisbane, to friends in Townsville. Apparently Townsville sucks as a place to buy cars but it does turn out to be a Geocaching mecca!Day 1: A 12 hour slog through rain and never ending potholes. Turns out it was a rain event with the heaviest falls since 1999 is some areas. Which I might have known about has I bothered to listen to the news . But it did make for an exciting drive. The early trick I learned was to always make sure I had gunea pig cars in front of me to follow and watch as they dodged potholes (some nearly the size of the whole lane )Day 2: I stayed overnight at the Barracrab Caravan Park at Clairview, a lovely old park with a restaurant/bar right on the beach and started out first thing in the morning to find four out of five attempted caches in the Clareview area.Day 3: Stayed at City Oasis Inn and found Tanks for the View Townsville during the morning walk but not the cache at Sacred Heart on the way back. But I do wonder how long the mountain bike I spotted there will last Day 4 & 5. no geocaching. many busy things. first time in a carwash. amazing experience Final Day 6: An early morning flight back to Brisbane and some time to kill before takeoff to do two caches. This was the second and final one of the trip, 'Frozen or Melton'. There's a seemingly obvious deep hole that your can fit your whole upper arm into. not only will you not find the cache in that hole but you'll scratch up your arm whilst you're at it The paper was somewhat moist but printable. The container could do with replacing

This cache at Sacred Heart on the walk back to the Inn however proved more difficult and time constraints were at play as the car I'd driven up from Brisbane required final delivery to it's new ownerI did however see discarded but serviceable mountain bike there up for grabs

Great cache in a fun little 'home'. I navigated to this location a tad differently and started from the Griffith Unversity Logan Campus. There's a dirt road from the car park that leads down to Slacks Creek and you can follow it around the creek bend (under the Logan Motorway). There's a fence that's easy to skirt around and a sign facing that 'entry' just saying dogs must be leashed. I interpret this as meaning they dont mind you entering Riverdale Park from this direction I've work at Logan off and on for the last 20 years and I never knew about this 'secret' access to the park and now I regularly take walks here...so thanks teamdlf! For this discovery you get my first ever Favorite Point

This is a late post but I agree with Brissy Cat and and 91stitch91. Very overgrown and the 'gps bounce' was very pronounced and had me moving around 15 to 20 metres in one directiion then another. I see that it has been found since so I'll have another crack at it sometime
This was a fun one, well camoflaged and unusual placement (at least in my very novice experience Me <= 180cm... no tools needed
