Logs for Stonepit Stompers

24-May-11
A cache 200 feet from my London Office, be rude not to. Not sure when I'll ever get round to completing the rest of the series though!

29-Nov-10
Found after a visit to the Grand Prix track, nice easy cache and dash. Cache was a bit exposed (Daddy Stomper could see it from Bruce the Motorhome) so covered it up a bit more when we left it. Took TB left marbles

27-Nov-10
Nice easy find after spending the morning fishing off the wharf, took two TBs left two in return

23-Nov-10
nice easy find in a lovely spot however no TBs to be found. Took dinosaur left marble

thank you for bringing us to this spot, retrieved travel bug left marble

Bruce the motorhome couldn't make it up the hill so a stomp for Mummy Stomper but no sign of Rex the TB. FOund after a short search. TFTC

Nice easy find although we had to dig the cache out of an nest of HUGE ants who were far from happy. Retrieved tortoise and hare geocoin left marble. TFTC

18-Nov-10
Found finally after clambering all over the place while the GPS changed its mind several times until Daddy Stomper leaned out of the motorhome windo and pointed out the "small cave" - I think the inept Geocoin was well earned! Will place it in another cache near my home which is meant to be easy but so far has eluded me!

Nice walk in the rain for Mummy Stomper while Daddy, Small and Baby Stomper stayed nice and dry in the motorhome. No TBs but log shows fellow cacher found on 16th Nov so assume they took them and yet to log. Left rugby ball TB as I'm going back to England where it started from so hopefully someone else will pick it up and help it on its way. Took dinosaur left marble. TFTC

15-Nov-10
Nice easy find for Mummy Stomper and Small Stomper although we got the bites to prove it! Def recommend repellant for this one. Took the rugby ball TB and left Clef du Paradis, Team Macsmithy racer, and set FreddieBug off on his mission to get back home to Battle, East Sussex, England - good luck FreddieBug

05-Nov-10
Lovely walk, small stomper was a good decoy for anyone wondering why I was clambering about on the rocks. Found after a short search. Left JamieBug and TC. Good Luck Guys!

04-Nov-10
Not a sucessful day - perhaps I had the co-ords wrong looking at the other logs, oh well

02-Nov-10
Walked from the Big4 campsite along the beach, beautiful if a little warm today. Managed to avoid being eaten by a croc or mauled to death by a cassowary so all good. No Bomerang TB to be found but left JellyBaby TB and Jack the Bulldog TB

01-Nov-10
This was a stop on our planned itinerary for our 6 week trip down the East Coast. Stood on the bank with the GPS and got a pretty good reading so I tucked JellyBaby travel bug safely into my cozzie and struck out across the hole. Not a pretty sight as I hauled myself up where I thought the cache would be and I certainly got a few looks! However I couldn't locate the cache and being a wimpy Pom I didn't want to rummage too much in case I disturbed something creepy, crawly, or scary. Thanks though for enticing me in for a lovely swim, I've logged JellyBaby as having visted the cache even if he didn't quite make it - I'll have to find somewhere else for him. I took a pic of him with what I think was "the thing blocking the signal" in the background - would be good if you could let me know if I was close!

30-Oct-10
First cache in on our trip to Oz from the UK. No little red fire engine trackable but took geononna coin and left Sussex Slipper and Klompies travel bugs. Klompies wants to get to the beach in Cairns where it's owners were married so hopefully they will get there.
