After chatting to my brother in-laws girlfriend on Christmas day about this cache and her failed attempts in locating it. I decided to go hunting on Boxing Day just to see if I could find it before her. Was caching with Stacky and we manage to locate this one pretty quickly, although we do have more experience.
So now we know it’s defiantly there we can just sit back and watch her finds to see when / if she finds this one.
TFTH
PS – This was also my 100 find, woohoo!

Big thanks to Gum-Nuts for organising a great event on a perfect day. Was nice to have the boys from Magellan there to show off their GPS’s and answer questions.
It was also good to catch up with some old faces and even some new ones. I hope everyone has a good and safe Christmas and look forward to seeing you all at the next event wherever it maybe.
Happy Caching

Firstly I’d like to say a massive thanks to Allied Oz and The Jokers for organising this event. The venue was just the right size with plenty of seating available as well as having a spacious outdoors for the wee Geocachers to run around.
There was also a raffle and quiz to keep the big Geocahers busy. I think the way the quiz was done with the remote pads was fantastic, just need to do a wee bit of research before the next one. Although saying that I think I came a respectable 10th.
I’d also like to say thanks to Gardengorilla for brining her huge collections of coins to share with us. Unfortunately I didn’t get time to go through your whole collection which I believe also grew during the event.
A final thanks to all the helpers in the background, sorry but I don’t know your names.
Looking forwards to 11-11-11

Climbed this Earthcache with Stacky, defiantly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney. Took Signal with us but unfortunately he was too small for the harness so had to wait at the bottom. Maybe next time wee froggie.

I visited this Earthcache last year and it’s still one of my favourite Geocaching locations.
I just wanted to let the owner of the cache know their Earthcache features on the front cover of the latest issue of the Geocaching magazine, FTF Geocacher. The magazine is only in its first year so not sure if many people in Australia know about it yet.

Found very easily and great view. Unable to email answers as send message is disabled for owner but attached picture.
Walked straight to GZ but after a wee look couldn’t find the cache. Had a look on the other two levels without any luck so decided to give this one a miss. As we headed off we past the spot where I first looked and decided to have one last look. Bingo! Not the first time I’ve walked straight to the cache then looked else where before walking back to it.

What a great event to mark the 10 year anniversary of Geocaching. Great people, great weather and loads of trackables to record. It’s taken me ages to log them all, almost as long as the event itself.
A big thanks to The Robots and Shael6636 for organising the event. Would also like thank all the helpers on the day. Unfortunately I can’t remember your names but you know who you are. Well done guys!
Would also like to thank everyone who purchased goods from our store (Jockaroo.au.com) and if anyone has any stock suggestions just drop us an email. We also hope you enjoyed the free copy of the FTF Geocacher magazine; we will be stocking future issues at Jockaroo.au.com
As someone said in an earlier post, it was nice to chat to people about geocaching without spending 10 minutes trying to explain the sport first. I look forward to catching up with everyone again at future events.
Happy Caching,
Chris

GPS took us to a burntout tree full of rubbish and maggots. Wasn't to keen on searching in there plus there was a few muggles about so decided to leave this one.
