Note the last two DidNotFind log entries.
Looks like this cache may need a visit and some maintenance.
Disabling it for now until we get a chance to action that !

01-May-11
Paid a visit for some maintenance based on the comments from the last log find.
Yes indeed, the whole area had been flooded with the mega rains that had come at the end of a decade long drought.
There was quite a bit of debris around the location of the cache and we simply could not find it ourselves.
A new one has been placed at that spot to keep The Paddys Return on the active list Smile

30-Apr-11
Paid a visit to refresh the cache, replace the logbook.
Has been there for 5 years now, was certainly due some maintenance !!

20-Sep-09
Dropped off travelbug (Iowa Geocoin) that was collectedd 2 weeks ago in Warrandyte.

Visited this one with friends while enjoying this lovely area of Warrandyte.
Took out the Iowa Geocoin, leftt a pack of Wiggles Gel pens.

22-Aug-09
Lovely afternoon for a wander in this bush park. Learned a fact or three from this educational multi - thanks for that.
Like the others before us, no dragonfly info to be found on any of the signs, but there is enough info to find the final cache without any problems.

Paid a visit to check up on the condition of the cache as it has been 3 years since we planted this one.
Great to see it was still in perfect condition and holding up well.
Added a Wi-Fi signal locator gadget to the cache.

07-Jun-08
Great walk in from the opposite side of whipstick gully.

Took : Nailbrush
Left : Santa Ornament

You guys love your equations !
Great job on the clues in the museum.Made us work really hard, especially for the phone number of the secretary of the Cemetary !!!

Took : Reflector
Left : FlingThing

Many thanks.

Great multi for a good walkabout.

Took about 1.5 hours in total, so the description was accurate for the time needed to complete this one.

Took : FlingThing
Left : InkStamper

Thanks for a good cache.

Nothing wrong with the coords as far as we know. The Final location coord has been designed to trick most people into coming in the wrong way (and it achieves that end in quite a few cases) Smile
Everyone that has worked out the final coors correctly from the initial clues has managed to find the cache so far.
If you want to email us what you have worked out the final coord as, we can let you know if it is correct or not. How about that ?

22-Jan-08
And thank you Peek-a-boo Bear for replacing the busted pencil. We will consider renaming this cache to "Peek-a-boos Nemesis" Smile

20-Jan-08
In fact - checked the waypoint caclculated by peekaboo. Looks like they are out a bit. So may be a simple case of the wrong waypoint, not lost due to flooding after all.

Will reenable and see if peek can find it (using the correct coords)

Looks like this pne may have been claimed by the floods according to a tipoff by Peek-a-boo bear.

We'll try to find some time to pay a maintenance visit soon.

Stopped in for a quick find on the way home to Melbourne from Bright.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Found on 1/1/08.

Ended up on the wrong side of the river and had to head back around. Turned into a much longer walk than we expected Smile

Beautiful view - well worth the visit.
Picked up this one after getting "A Rocky View"
Had to resort to the hint but found it straight away with that.

We can see how these rocks could have you slipping and sliding when wet alright. No such issues for us on the lovely day that it was. Stopped on the way in to the cache to watch a mamma duck teach all her newborns how to duck for food - very entertaining !
Cache found with no probs.

Found this one after getting "Valley Picnic Ground".
Stumbled around for a bit while struggling with poor sat lock.
Logbook is a wee nit soggy unfortunately - probably need a bit of maintenance here !

Brilliant inventiveness with this cache. Had us looking for a while ! There was no log in the cache although the container itself is in perfect condition. Left some sheets of paper in it for future cachers.

Found this one easily while heading down the trail to "Eagles Nest".
Worked on our Kookaburra calls while on the way but none of them were being fooled - just gave us disgusted looks instead !

28-Nov-06
What a beautiful evening for a stroll to a new cache in our area.
Took a photo, left nothing but our admiration for the wonderful sunset Smile

Many thanks for the cache !

Very enjoyable walk around the park but unfortunately we arrived at GZ to find the container sitting empty and out in the open. It looks like the hiding place has been destroyed as the large tree which may have been the GZ spot has been recently split in two (sawdust still on the ground).
Left the container back at the GZ coordinates but it looks like you will have to relocate this one !

Nice walk in - took the long route.
Left a whistle, took a keyring.

02-Sep-06
Stopped by to check up on the cache - in good nick and has survived the winter well. Dropped off the TB we recovered from the Peninsula last weekend.

27-Aug-06
Really enjoyed our walking through the parks here today. We had brought a friend along on what was meant to be a quick into to geocaching and we ending up walking 10k in total and picking up 3 caches.

Took : Whictle and TravelBug
Left : Koala keyring + bouncy eyeball

We were in the are so decided to have a look anyway even though it is listed as disabled.
Cache is in fine condition, but the coords are about 8m out. This updated doordinate should help though.

Agree with the previous loggers - This is one slimy cache !

Thanks for the cache though. We certainly enjoyed the walk here today - ended up being about 10k in total - we felt like we earned our coffees after it all Smile

Had tried this one the night before but blundered around and left it until this morning for a further search after checking the previous logs and finding the more accurate coordinate left by Daks. Thaanks for that - would have been lost without it !

TNLN

We enjoyed the walk up the hill and most certainly enjoyed the view. The cache is spacious and well constructed but we have definately used the very last piece of space on the back of the logbook for writing.

You need a new logbook guys !!

Well, we found it - but same report as the previous log from 1 month ago. Container was out of its hidey hole and open. Full to the brim with water - totally saturated. Didnt even try to open the log book. Looks like some terratorial animal does not like where this cache is hidden. Emptied the water , replaced the lid and put it back in its spot, but this one should be disabled until some serious maintenance is done on it.
