Logs for TeamRascl
12-Oct-12
Nice view and a pleasant outlook to sit and watch the world go by. This one is time consuming due to the muggle activity in the area. Sometimes you have to drink a lot of water while you wait.. TNLN TFTC
Found it working with Hunters and Collectors. A bit if effort working out the coordinates( much discussion on the numbers!!) Nice location, very windy when we found it though. TNLN SL TFTC.

Wasn't particularly keen on the hill but WOW - the views all round were definitely worth it (& it wasn't that bad . . . really). Watched dolphins playing off the rocks for quite some time before continuing to the cache, so therefore felt it was appropriate to leave a dolphin brooch. Took a pencil sharpener. Thanks TheWanderer47 for another amazing cache that took us places we'd never been.
Added (wouldn't say wasted) a bit of time to this one by a false start heading in the wrong direction at WP1! Had to laugh when we ultimately found the log in the cache - apparently TheRascl's brother & father had done the same thing on separate occassions - must be a family gene thing! Took nothing. Left Oz $100 note keyring. Thanks TheWanderer47 for bringing us to an amazing spot we would never have otherwise found.

A nice easy & quick find by TechnoRascl. Very peaceful spot. Bit disappointed that TB Buggerang had buggeranged off without being logged (wanted to take him to Sydney as per his wish). LNTN. TFTC.
Fantastic amazing views. Have been this way several times before getting into geocaching - guess we now know why some people leave the track! A very quick find by HyperRascl. Only 2 of the 5 TB's listed are there (Hand of Death & Hog Wild). TN. Left a skull & cross-bone keyring to keep the Hand of Death company. TFTC.
An easy find by HyperRascl. Amazing views all round. Well worth the walk, even though it wasn't quite as bad as we anticipated! TNLN (nothing very enticing in the offerings!). TFTC.

Set out for what we expected to be a couple of easy finds (the other one was!) No doubt missing something quite obvious at WP1. Looked and looked. Got wet feet. Got sunburnt. Got eaten alive by mozzies as day turned to night. Found empty tuna tins, beer bottles and you name it, but nothing we needed to continue the search. Only interruptions were the constant texts from teen-muggle at home - "What's for dinner, I'm starving" & "When are you coming home?". Coming home? We're on a mission. Had to finally give in - the mozzies were getting bigger than the Rasclettes, and I'm sure the hobo was due home, but we'll be back! Thanks 'foundem'.
Yay! Find #10! Had a lot of fun with this one. Found WP1 easily but then the real fun began - took over 10 minutes to get the lid off the cache (yes we were trying the correct end!), and then another 5 or 6 minutes to get the little scrap of paper out of the bottom! Hmm - no clue. While HyperRascl and TheRascl "oohed" & "aahed" at the pretties, TechnoRascl was onto the coordinates immediately. Very clever
On to GZ - another easy find with lots of goodies to choose from. Took a lock & wallet & left a pack of mini playing cards & a magnetic spirit level.
After a few days of 'seeking' in the Blue Mountains it was great to find a physically-less-challenging cache. Thanks 'foundem' for providing a cache that Post-op HyperRascl could fully participate in and enjoy.

Loved this one. Pretty lucky today - people just leaving as we arrived and arriving as we were leaving! TFTC.
Arrived at the same time as Pyro2355 (what are the odds?). Nice to meet a fellow-cacher. Took goggles. Left little man luggage tag & jumbo green dice. Keep lookin for the other four dice to play Yahtzee! Thanks for the cache Team Stilllookin.

Absolutely breathtaking views - got some great photos. Took Sydney 2000 badge. Left jumbo blue dice - find the other four to play Yahtzee! TFTC.
Fascinating history. Will have to attempt to walk much further some time. Found GZ - HyperRascl sat the last bit of this one out! Took nothing. Left jumbo yellow dice - find the other 4 and you can play Yahtzee! TFTC.

We had this one in our sights for the weekend but when we realised how close we were to it, we just couldn't resist a bushwalk in the dark! Took a book (The complete book of Soft Furnishings) but the poor thing hadn't been registered . We registered it with Book Crossing. It's new BCID is 202-7729830. Will release as soon as the curtains are finished! BTW, only 4 books left in the library. TFTC.
Only half of TeamRascl attended. HyperRascl & TechnoRascl can have a shot at it tomorrow (won't fill in log again though)! Very dark at 10.30 (pm) but the lights made for a pretty view anyway! Nice hidey hole & good clue! Filled in log - not too much space left & starting to get a bit tatty. TFTC.

As newbies, waited till dark due to location but still had to wait for Muggles to leave (or were they waiting for us??). Been driving past here 4 - 5 times a week clueless to the game others played! TFTC.

Number 2.. probably a great view, couldn't see it this time due to all the mist. Fun clue! Lots of rain, very slippery and muddy road on the way in. Took a nutrigrain CD, dropped a set of lithium batteries.
Yay.. Found our first one! Sensational location.Loved the clues. Dropped a squished penny from Disneyland
