A great night out despite the wet weather, nice to catch up with the regulars, most we haven't seen in ages. Met a few new faces and enjoyed our yummy meal along with all the geochatter. Thanks again Sophie for hosting the Leap Year Event..... seeya all in another 4 years.

A quick dash from work, always a great opportunity to meet cachers from Around the World. Lots of new faces, enjoyed the geo and travel chat. Thanks for organising Kadres and Juekru, nice to meet you, glad to see you made it to North Head..... fantastic photos. We wish you all a Happy New Year, stay safe, have heaps of fun and Best Wishes on all your travels around NZ. 

Nice to catch up with some of the locals and share a summery Kiwi Christmas BBQ with our visitor from Latvia. Thanks Sophie for organising another enjoyable Christmas Special in the Park. Merry Cachmas & a Happy New Year to you all!
 

Was attending the Christmas Special Event, then went for a long stroll to work off the extra calories..... increased it again by stopping for an ice cream before sneaking in while the muggle BBQ's were running hot nearby, TFTC & Happy New Year. 

Dough! Felt like a nut, obvious where it could be hidden, but Yeetrees was onto it and soon had the Cinnamon extracted from the hole. Believe the roll is full here as well, TFTC.
 

A cool spot to enjoy a massive helping of Scones and lashings of Lemonade, TFTC.
 

Out on an afternoon stroll with Yeetrees after indulging ourselves at Yum Char, not the best way to shed a few extra kilos by finishing off with desert though. This Wacky cache batter was super moist, unfortunately the chocolate log portion was quite filling, only just managed to squeeze our names on a tiny slice, TFTC.
 

Yippee..... a Velvety smooth retrieval ensured we didn't see Red or feel like a Cupcake for a change, nice hide, TFTC.
 

Nicely camoed Macaron, love the sweet filling, sandwiched well with the surroundings, TFTC.
 

A nice crunchy retrieval by Yeetrees, and a most decent sized Afghan Biscuit tin too, although there were only crumbs left, TFTC.
 

What a Pain, Au muggles about and not a Chocolat in sight! No time to get croissant, we just had to persevere, and eventually, we were rewarded with another sweet pastry, TFTC.
 

We assured Persimmon that the cache was delivered on time. Nicely hidden and a neat spot for some Pudding, TFTC.
 

We had to choux away some of the locals before we could ice the Eclair, another full log here..... dough..... that's because it's filled with yummy cream! TFTC.
 

Glad we didn't make a Lamington of it as a group of muggles squared in on us, quickly replaced and admired the light and fluffy locals before leaving, TFT Multi C at a cool location.
 

It's not often we get to swirl around, but we were on a Roll and could soon smell the sweet success of Cinnamon, TFTC.
 

We teamed up with Yeetrees to complete this series, enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the Lagoon. Appreciated the Bonus of any additional exercise especially after a few days wining and dining with family, and we were tempted by all your yummy baked goodies. Many thanks for a fun and entertaining afternoon, our compliments to Chef Vamber for the Baker's Dozen (left out 11 cos it was still MIA).
 

There sure are some GIFF'ed videographers out there. Many thanks Chris for organising an entertaining evening, Enjoyed the popcorn and after movie flash bang chatter

Geocaching Goes Gold... No K9's about to slow down our progress today, TFTC.
 

Rocked up for a quick find, had some nice views of the nearby water treatment plant from further up the Heinously High Hill, TFTC.
 

I came, I saw, I found the logsheet a bit damp, but we managed to leave our mark though, TFTC.

Klank, Klunk, Klonk... Well... this one certainly brought back memories of caching in SkindoLand, TFTC.
 

Nanoo Nanoo Nanoo... We overshot the mark, had to walk back 30m to get the nugget, TFTC.
 

Quick find before heading off for our walk around the Golden Cross Mine Site. Saw a car load of hoons doing doughnuts in the carpark from the top of the crusher platform. TFTC. 

Required two goes before we could locate the well hidden final, GPS was wandering around on our initial visit, but it settled down on our return from Maratoto Track Views, TFTC.
