Logs for bunzi

04-Jun-05
I approached this one from possibly the most difficult direction. :/ Typical. Arriving at ground zero, I was somewhat surprised to find another cacher, who turned out to be Zsazsa7, searching around patiently. After some time, and after we must have both looked at the hiding spot several times already, the stash was found.
Left: a CD that I found at Hut Hunt, Took: a 'stubby holder'.

Thank you TomasS, I enjoyed that one, despite the scratches, being blackened by soot and almost sliding over a cliff! Wink

What a top spot. It's a subtly beautiful view of the Brindies and the 'Bidgee - and only a few kms from my home.
Took nothing, left a small quartz crystal, reflective of the peace I felt here.

I amanged to get two quick snaps off before my camera battery went f'tang.

My geowhippet and I found this one with little effort, though it was a bit 'scrambly' in places. Fun none the less!

Took nothing, left 500 Yen and 100 South Pacific Francs.

I used to run this hill fairly regularly a few years back, but a 6 month layoff for some injuries made this a bit of a tough walk! A dusty road and a burry trail leads to a wonderful view followed by a pleasant (though slightly slippery in places) roll back down the hill. Took my camera, but I was a bit too hazy for any worthwhile pics.

I located the hide in about 5 minutes, took a rock and left a 500 yen coin.

OK, I'm gonna log a did not find on this one. I've now been here twice without luck, although the first was muggle ridden and the second was at night. I'll have another go on the weekend. Here's hoping I'm just suffering from the geocaching version of domestic blindness! Smile

I popped in on this one after a long day at work with the hope of a FTF, but alas, I was outdone by The Hill 4. The view is great at night, I recommend it. I only had my PDA's camera, which totally failed to perform, otherwise I'd share it.

So I'm off to sulk in the bath with my newly acquired rubber ducky (exchanged for a micro torch) and a glass of chardy. I just hope the other one doesn't get lonely! (The other ducky, not glass of chardy.)

Thanks! (Though I'm hoping the wine will flush the song out of my head.) Smile

Picked this one up this morning on the way to work. I'd gathered most of the data on the weekend, but my first try put me in the middle of a road! A quick review revealed my error, and I found the cache rather quickly then.

Thanks for an enjoyable and educational challenge.

Nothing taken, nothing left.

After getting my first attempt on the way home from work incorrect, I reurned a few hours later armed with a dog and a precision mindset. I found the animal within about 5 minutes. Fortunately, the geowhippet decided to skip taking a dip.
Thanks ThomasS!

I decided to sneak this one in before sunset on my way (kind of) to the shops the get dinner. I found the cache just on sunset, and sat there rifling through it, watching the sunset, and freezing my proverbials off. Smile
Took a poorly labelled Wink CD which will soon find its way back into the system, and deposited a COMPLETELY DRY (unused for about 5 years) Zippo.

Took my geowhippet for a pleasant stroll along the railroad. Found the cache fairly easily. It was a pleasant walk, sans trains, snakes and paintballers. I did catch my pup eyeing off the sheep though. Bad geowhippet!
Took nada, left $2.

Thankfully I picked a time without too much traffic to do this one. It might have been a little annoying otherwise, but that's just me. Smile Left 4 Energisers. Took the shell bug for a trip next week.

My first cache, and I must say, very enjoyable. Thanks Thomas! I've live in Tuggers for several years now, and had no idea some of those things existed.
