Really cool place, we've holidayed heaps around here and have often wondered about the unusual rock formations at the head land. So not only learned about drop stones, dykes and joint s we also found out about the long deceased fauna that are now rocks themselves.
Fun for the whole family.

Walked straight to it, no one more amazed than me. I normally walk around and around even the most obvious ones. Must have been the clarity of a very early morning start.

GPS had it under some sort of agarve, but clues pointed to near by mulberry tree. Neither places yielded a find
25-Aug-12
Found with Tom unfortunately nothing to leave so didn't take anything much to Toms disgust.
Second find for day Tom found this pretty quickly. Who knows when he grows up he might turn out to be a demon cacher.
20-May-12
First find with Geo kiddies, and in the park at the end of our street. We've been to this park a million times who'd have thunk there was a cache under our noses. Took 5c and left a different 5c

Right I need help.... probably mental help too.... this cache has become my nemesis. I can't say how many times I've been to try and find it... no really I'm far too embarrassed to say.
My GPS gives me a GZ right on top of the rock that appears in Bigmickb "Cache Victory" photo. I've looked under all of the rocks systematically in and expanding circle for about 5m ... many times.
HELP ... for the love of (insert you preferred higher being) put me out of my misery so I can go and look for another cache..... somebody give me a clue.... please.

Found in the late evening on the way to have another crack at the Washing Machine. Probably spent a little too long on this on as it was nearly dark by the time I got the washing machine, which made it impossible and a bit scary walking out of the bush in the dark

Sort of pleased to read about so many no finds, sorry fellow geo-cachers,but took some of the pain out of my fruitless hour and a half searching.
GPS had me right on top of it, a perfect little spot to hide a cache, with some fresh activity marks like some one had been looking but ....... no cahce in sight, looks like I'll have to come back to this one again..... 2 out of 2 no finds for the day. Nice spot though, pity about how bad the water smells, Toowoomba made the right decision.

Well this turned out to be a bit embarrassing. After looking for 20 mins it turned out where I initially stopped and leant my bike against a rock, that was basically where the cache was...... doh!
From this one headed off to "The Rampart"

Cache no 2 of the day, after "Ribet". Reasonably easy find after a bit of bush bashing from the Normanhurst Creek path. Disturbed a wallaby near cache.
Liberated a "pesky" monkey which I intended to leave at Mystery Maj, but you'll have to read that log to find out what happened.....

Found very easily after a real bush bash from "The Rampart†the path that follows the Normanhurst Creek just disappeared and I ended up having to clamber out through someone’s property ooops.
Anyhoo the cache was in the open and waterlogged when I found it so I dried it as best as I could and replaced it with lid slightly ajar to aid drying out further in the over hang and covered, unfortunately, with a conspicuous rock.
This makes it no harder or easier to find I'd say. In all of this organising I forgot to put the "Pesky Monkey" in liberated from “The Rampartâ€. Never mind it can go in the next one.

Reasonably easy find in failing light, just perfect for a late afternoon bike ride. Took nothing, placed nothing. Cache in good order.
18-Sep-05
Found it whilst out for a bike ride. It's it very good condition, but the lizzard (Big) that was sat on top of the box scared the whatsits out of me.
In: Nothing Out: Nothing on account of there's no room in the cache
