Can confirm that as per the description the cache can indeed be found in a log at the back of the cleared area near the big tree. 

Will replace in level 2

Not the same place it used to be, had a good run with it so will free up the space for someone else in future.

New container in place. Coordinates remain the same. 

Can confirm this is no longer here. Will replace on my next visit out this way.

I'm currently unable to get out here for the foreseeable future so freeing up the space for someone else to use if they so wish. Otherwise will re-do at a later date once I'm able to. 

It's had a good run, time for someone else to use the space for something better.

Must have de-tethered, not too many places it can be so will get out there and check. 

Stretching the legs today with a couple of caches out this way and wandered over to this one. Took a little bit of looking but had the nicely hidden cache before too long and we can head over to the next. TFTC 

Back again for another look and seemed to time our run to coincide with it being missing again. Hoping third time will be the charm.

Brought some new hiking friends out to the lake and went in for a quick detour on the way to find this one. Nice quick find and a great spot - though all but impossible for us to get our names on the log today. Missed Jag50 and Merlot here, but ended up running into them on our walk around the lakes later on in the day. TFTC 

Saw this show up last night but had an early gym session for this morning so figured I'd let the eager beavers get this. Turns out that was me today as we ended up swinging by after class and grabbing this before sunrise. Nicely hidden and straightforward. TFTC 

After a leisurely brunch in Titirangi we noticed that there still wasn't any finds on this one so we headed over to see how we'd go. Noticed a very familiar car as we pulled in, so knowing that FTF was well and truly gone went over for a chat with Gorby first before wandering across to find the cache. Happy with a 2TF, and nice to have a quick catch up with Gorby before heading home again. TFTC 

After brunch in Titirangi I saw this one had been published so without wanting to rush our bacon treats we finished up and then headed over to this one.

Saw Jag50 walking over just as we'd parked so begun a shared search and after a bit of looking Jag50 had the cache in hand. Nice spot, TFTC 

Had a good look here but not good enough apparently. Will try again another time. 

Not in the zone today, had the place to ourselves and a good look around but missed this completely. Will try again another time. 

Area was busy when we came by which put us off, but the big ol' pile of #2 right where the GPS was pointing was enough to get us to call it a day this time around.

No joy for us today, going to blame the crying child for not sticking around longer to try and find this one and not the fact that we just couldn't find it this time around.
