I will take the chance and finally log this site that I wanted to log for quite some time and never did.
Horyuji is one of Japan's oldest temples. Its main hall, five storied pagoda and central gate, dating from the 7th century, are the world's oldest surviving wooden structures. This is the Butterfly House in the city of Itami in Japan. It is located within a nice park called Koyaike Park. There is also a big pond with a miniature copy of the Japanese archipelago.

Nice zoo although the animals look just as sad as in all the other zoos of the world. Thanks for the ONLY cache in Bangkok which has deserved many more.

These part of the wall are part of an exhibiton piece about the history of the wall at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. They are standing exactly where the "real" wall used to be.

This is Dondo Dam in Japan. It is in an area called Suzurandai, which is north of Kobe City. The lake is called Lake Tsukuhara.

Reservoir area: 105 ha

The Akashi-Kaikyo Ohashi in Akashi(Japan) which links the main island of Honshuu to Awaji Island is the longest Cable-Suspension Bridge of the world with a center span of 1,990.8 m (6,532 ft, or 1.24 miles).
