Logs for karl and sharyn

I am archiving this cache. The cache has gone, I suspect taken by the parks people even though it was a small plastic bottle hanging from a log.
Pity our rangers cannot be more enlighten like the Grand Canyon rangers who have placed their own caches.

Only having the waypoint on the etrex and being in the area found the area for the cache. Got half way up the cliff and gave up

Easy to find. No problems with the marshy ground, but then it is summer. Disappointed that the cache was on United Water land and we could have faced an on the spot fine if caught there.
Found by Karl and Sharyn at 1.05 pm. Had just watched King of the Mountain on Checkers Hill Road prior to commencing our hunt.
Thank god for a daughter that speaks Portuguese. Made one unsuccessful attempt and then rang her at home to get translation. After picking many prickles from socks finally discoverd the cache. In perfect order. Wrote in book.
Future cache hunters could contact SBS Language Services for help! Take gators to avoid prickles. Was still finding them in my pants several hours later.

Not found by Karl and Sharyn. Are the coordinates right for this. Spent a lot of time following the arrows which bounced around all over the place. Gave up and went to watch Tour Down Under King of the Mountain at Checkers Hill Road.

Cache has been removed as requested by the park's friends group.
Pity because this was the first cache in SA

Sharyn and I found the first cache. Had a bit of trouble until I realised I had note checked the datum. Left nothing, took nothing.
Second cache was all ok, took nothing left nothing.
Could not find the third cache. Did an extensive search but no luck. Found some candles in a bag and a possum, but that is all.

Sharyn and I found your cache. This was our second visit, the first failing. The stake made it a lot easier. Took nothing, left nothing.

Hi, I was staying overnight in Melbourne from Adelaide and decided to try and find your cache.
Not having a map of Melbourne with which I could plot the GPs position and only having access to public transport I used your clue of being within 1km of a tram or train.
My hotel was in St Kilda so got a heading and distance from the GPS. Then bought a public transport map which seem to be to scale and plotted the bearing. Actually did it too cruedly and headed off on the Upfield train line. Got off at Royal Park and the bearing here indicated I was on the wrong train line. So went back to Nth Melbourne and took the Broadmeadows line.
I still had to guess what station to get off. Tried Glenbervie and bingo, only 600m away.
Found the cache easily (19:10) though didn't like puting my hand into a place I couldn't see.
Just left a a note in the log, didn't leave or take anything.

Found your cache with no problems. Actually Sharyn found it as I was wandering around with the GPS trying to get close to it.
Cache was all ok and looks like we were the first to visit it.
Left a toy and took the rocky horror show CD.
