Archived. Done its dash and the area has deteriorated so now I think the cache is boring.
Will relocate as a new cache somewhere else...
Cheers,
GenCuster.

Another successful event! Many thanks to all those who made it happen - from the cachers who attended to the Porirua City Council management and staff who gave us their time and support.
Keep Porirua Beautiful has already asked us to be involved with a local project in September - Keep New Zealand Beautiful week.
We have also created a cache and will be placing some of the TB's at the event in it. All the CITO attendees have signed the cache lid and donated items for it.
The Keep Porirua Beautiful coordinator came out with us today and we scouted a location for the new cache as well as visited 3 local caches - all good!
The BBQ was yummy, the weather fine, the company excellent and the swapping of ideas and tricks inspiring. Hopefully next year, other Cachers around New Zealand will be motivated to organise similar events - a little effort does go a long way and the long term benefits of a positive relationship with the local Councils cannot be underestimated.

Please see amended web page re weather and alternate to Sunday if necessary.
If it is just a wee Southerly, the intention is to continue. Please ensure that you bring suitable clothing and footwear.
A late thought but we could retire to the hot pools nearby afterwards... Warm up a tad
