Thanks for the cache. Just got the Magellan 100 back from repairs and needed to test drive it. Not only was the GPS fine, so was the cache. I come here a lot to collect stone from the little beach around the point for teaching students about stone tool making technology. One time earlier this year, I saw wallaby footprints along the sandy track near the mangroves.

Found quickly with nr 2 son Rich. Returning the cache, we were almost surprised by three lady muggle walkers who on closer contact, turned out to be colleagues.
I've caught lots of keeper flathead in the nearby channel on the outgoing tide lately using soft plastic lures (golden sqidgies)...another good reason for being in the vicinity!

Mrs Geo and I were at The Haven to watch godson Matt's u/13 Entrance Rams Rugby Union side play Terrigal. After a great game(they won and Matt scored a try)we wandered up to ground zero. The perfect autumn weather ensured stealth was needed to cope with muggles lurking about. Mrs Geo was telling me about childhoods spent rolling down the slope! Great views TNLN TFTC.

Found and logged quickly on the way to the shops. Was hoping I might sneak in a FTF, but alas, Shifter Brains got there 2 days before me. TNLN, TFTH!

Had a very good look for no result. GPS seemed very definite that both myself and Nr 2 son were right on the spot. Will try again.

After a couple of DNF looks due to a misunderstood clue, worked it out. The cicadas were very noisy in what's proving to be one of those great cicada years. Saw a nankeen heron in the nearby creek. TNLN

The first time I did the dishes they weren't clean enough so mum said I had to do them again. The second time the dishes were done properly. TFTH. Took squash ball and left whistle.

Had two looks for no result. The second look this morning aborted by the strong urinal smell after only a few minutes. What a shame. Might cross this off the to do list till some good rain!

Thought I'd found it...went back after it was serviced and couldn't. Didn't find it the first time...a bit too keen as a beginner. I'll have to keep looking for this one!

Coming home for me too. I used to run around here as kid picking mushrooms in this paddock before it became CSIRO Radiophysics. The local horse crowd girls called it Ponies' Paradise. Took nothing left padlock. Thanks.

Number 2 son and I decided it was time for a walk. I've been taking school groups and staff on this walk for 15 + years but this was a whole new reason to go. It rained after we found the neatly hidden cache and the bush was just beautiful: sparkling drops of water splitting the light into different colours flashed all the way back to the car. Fancy, after the hundred and more times I've done the walk I've never done it in the rain before. Thanks for that!

My first cache found with the help of nr 2 son. One of my favourite places. Took nothing but left a little swiss army gadjet.
