This is the 5th country where I have found one of the holy 4000 virtuals. In pretty much of a rush I missed my name tag but there I am with my GPS. Good job with the location of one of these limited edition caches. A favorite for sure and my first Italy cache.

Although I found this one 6 weeks ago, I'm using it to activate my TB commemorating my trip to The Great Barrier Reef.

Well this is it. Forever this will be my furthest east find. It also restores my faith in NZ as it's the first ammo can I've found here. Many of the regulars would be small in the US. The only reason to mention this is I had a struggle to find caches big enough for the TBs I brought over from the states. Anyway this little conservation area sounds like deep jungle with all the different bird calls. Going off the path was a bit scary at first then I got into search mode and it was back to normal. Thanks spiker. A favorite

Finally gave up and did a query of regular or large caches. Tired of smalls that are really micros. Look what's just down the road from the hotel. My second cache in NZ at a trig. Thank MCC. I'll give this one a favorite.
Been getting worried that I'd never find a cache in NZ that would accoodate my modest sized TB. Decided to regular cache only query. This one turned up on our route for the day. The right size and good activity. I turned out one of my originals in it's third rendition. Thanks XenaCommander. Another favorite.

Deep Lob and I grabbed this one on an early AM trip up the mountain. I was hoping for a cache large enough for a TB. This was big enough but I was afraid to leave the bug in a ski area at the beginning of the snow season. Regardless this is a favorite. Thanks klaymen
Struggling to find a cache big enough for a modest sized TB. This is a 35 mm film canister which defined micro until they became extinct and were replaced by bison tubes and Mr. magnetos. Not small where I come from. But I'll soldier on. There's bound to be one somewhere. Thanks shellbelz.
Found with Deep Lob and liked the place enough to have an early beer and lunch. Worlds oldes oil well! Wow. Thanks radionut50. a favorite

Last night on the south island. In position for a 2 PM ferry and driving around before dinner. always nice to grab a cache to put another dot on the map. No longer a regular, actually on the small side of small, but the log is nice and dry. Good hint. Thanks moneydork.
Found on a quick side trip after an awesome helicopter ride over the glaciers. Left a truly unspectacular coin. Thanks Jake. W e give it a favorite for keeping a cache going here

Thought we should grab one in Te Anau as we spent two days here. Thanks kev n chris.
Deep Lob spotted this road which we had to give a try. turned on the GPS and look what popped up. Quite a good location and now we yanks know what a trig looks like although we don't yet know why it's there. Time for google. Thanks for this favorite Clan Fraser.

Headed to Doubtful and had only a minute to look for this one. Found it quickly but it was a bit damp.I was going to replace the log but the que at the bus was moving and had to sign and go. Thanks Greway, a favorite.
Of course the coach arrived in the rain. Gave GZ a quick search with no luck so we hopped on the boat for a great trip with mostly sun. Arrived back at the dock in the rain again. The coach was late so we had some time although two guys were fueling a boat from the pump. We blundered around and finally one of the fuel guys came over, grabbed the cache and said "is this what you're looking for". We take all the the help we can get. Another favorite Greyway.

Found this one with Deep Lob on our way to Milford Sound. Have to give it a favorite. Thanks AmayaTom.

Found with Deep Lob. Brought a special TB all the way from Florida, USA to put in this regular cache, but it's not a regular anymore. It's actually on the small side of small. But I understand the problem of maintaining a cache in a place like this so no complaint, just a shout out to others. This one will be my lifetime southernmost cache so it has to get a favorite. Thanks Trutta.

Knew this one was near our hotel when we were back in the states planning the trip. Had a bit of free time so we grabbed it before heading south. Good hide in such a heavy urban environment. Not just another micro. Although I'm more of a terrain guy this has to get a favorite as our first in New Zealand and not a micro. Thanks TwoSharpe
Staying right up George Street and had the chance to grab this one on an empty street at 7 am on a Saturday. At this point this is my southernmost cache. Although I'm a terrain guy I have to give this a favorite since you put it so close to my motel and I've come so far to find it. Thanks Guwapo.

Had this one on the radar a month ago back in the States. Not so easy to find a TB sized cache these days so this one was my pick. Old school navigation as the GPS doesn't have Australia maps. Felt like I was back at home in Florida for the last few meters. Dropped my TB and headed back to the hotel for breakfast. A ten year old cache. How can it not be a favorite. Thanks Yarrum

No luck. My GZ was not near the hint but I went there and looked. Kind of a messy place so I gave up.

My second Australia cache and a chance to drop more TBs in search of some serious mileage. As I was going back up the hill a Homeless guy was coming down. Seems like home in Florida. Cache in great shape a nd a favorite. Thanks again Nilbog Aus.
Wow, how many times do you get to find your first cache on a continent? Interesting location and a cache big enough for a TB. Thanks nIlbog Aus. A favorite for sure.

My fears about having the kayak launch trapped by the government shutdown, but that was not the case. A short paddle out and then a tromp around the island. A petty quick find and another jasmer month is done. Only one more to go and it's in New Jersey. Hopefully next spring. Last of the historic caches for this trip. I wish we had the same luck with National Parks but Mr Boehner didn't think it was important to keep them open. Oh well, the cache is of course a favorite. A paddling cache is always a top rating as well. Thanks lakebum. SFOR 10

Something about the older caches rings my bells. This was my first year 2000 cache. I've had it in mind for about 6 months, but its a long trip from the Daytona area. Things fell into place for a south Florida caching/visiting trip so I planned to camp at Collier Seminole SP. 43 degrees last night. Too cold for this neo Floridian. Rangers said the trail was only open 8-4 although this is not posted at the trail head so I think it is more a wish than a rule. Biked over from the camping area, about 5.5 miles round trip. I started out wearing everything I brought, but by the time I got to the cache it warmed up 30 degrees and it was a great day. Rangers advised not to bring my cocker spaniel due to pythons! All I saw was 2 deer. Very dry so no evidence of gators. Finding this one was a visit to a shrine for me. Left a TB. Thanks a lot anidanid for rescuing this one apparently at least twice, once from abandonment and again from a crittter attack. SFOR 10
