The country park development has put the final 3 caches out of bounds, so it's time to let this series retire and let someone else have a go. Thanks to all who visited

Arrived at the airport and checked my case with 40 minutes until my flight back to Melbourne and on to London. Would I have enough time? I still had a coin to drop so I had to give it a go. In the end I was back in the terminal in 17 minutes. Found the well disguised container straight away. Nobody around at GZ so I was undisturbed as I did the necessary with my keys. Left the coin, picked up a couple of TBs which I can help achieve their goals and had a look through the window into the museum. TFTC

Sorry but another DNF. Nearly stopped by last Tuesday when I arrived but had my suitcase so decided to try again when I flew out so that I could check my case first. Like previous DNFers I found the item mentioned in the hint, but no cache

After my DNF earlier in the week, the CO got in touch and we had a good chat. Without giving too much away, he confirmed I'd been looking in the right area and encouraged me to have another go. Although I'm staying way out in the suburbs on business, tonight brought me back into the CBD to meet up with an old friend from the UK. After a few beers and a curry it was definitely time to introduce him to caching. Beer and darkness were obviously the ingredients missing from my first visit; this time I spotted something out of place almost straight away. Clever hide and deserving a favourite point. TFTC

In town for work and enjoying the fantastic weather, so took a walk down from the Novotel in the late afternoon sunshine to pick this one up. Great hide which I looked at a couple of times before realising it was the cache, and definitely well worth a favourite point. Brought a few coins and trackables with me, but the only one I had left has already thoroughly explored Northern Europe, so it would be a bit harsh to send it straight back there. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

14th cache of a day exploring Melbourne, now back on foot after a spell on a rental bike. Not many caches are worth a visit when they're in a litter strewn alley that smells of urine, but this is definitely one and gets a favourite point (although my Melbourne-based musical taste is more Birthday Party than AC/DC). Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

First DNF of a day exploring Melbourne - I read and re-read the hint but nothing clicked. The jet lag must be getting to me. Even so thanks for bringing me to the interesting spot. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

First cache of a day exploring Melbourne - good to see a decent sized container so well hidden in such a busy location. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

9th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - despite the description and previous logs, a portly pom can DEFINITELY recover this cache without any special equipment. Enjoyed this one - heading to beach on my hired bike now. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

4th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - found straight away with the hint. Another good sized container for a well hidden urban hide, and a great riverside location. Dropped off a TB which wants to explore the world. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

Oh no! 2nd DNF of yesterday exploring Melbourne (yes I'm behind on logging). Spent a good while looking for this one and really enjoyed the location, but sadly no joy. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

Really happy to see this one come back online - I've been trying to plan some caching to fit around a work trip to Melbourne for a couple of weeks and this is within spitting distance of the Novotel. After a day of caching in the city to stay awake and stave off jet lag, this was a great final find of the day at 20:30 after dinner and before a very well earned sleep. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

5th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - this one was very well camouflaged, even with good co-ordinates it tool a few minutes of searching. Didn't see any trackables in the cache though. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

2nd cache of a day exploring Melbourne - GPS all over the place, but not too many options after I read the hint so found fairly quickly. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

6th cache of a day exploring Melbourne (still catching up yesterday's logs) - busy location, but the tired traveller sitting down and talking on his mobile did the trick. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

8th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - hired a bike at Federation Square and had to wheel it through the park to find this one. Just about to give up when I spotted something which looked slighly out of place and Bingo! Great hide in a fantastic location. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

15th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - sneaky but I followed the hint and wondered where a cache could be hidden and found it pretty quickly. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

10th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - spotted this well hidden chap from a distance approaching on my hired bike. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

13th cache of a day exploring Melbourne on a rental bike - quick find with the hint. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

3rd DNF of yesterday exploring Melbourne (yes I'm well behind on logging) and I'm starting to think I've lost the plot. Hired a bike to enjoy the fantastic weather so I'll keep going. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

13th cache of a day exploring Melbourne on a rental bike - having the bike helped with this one - I'll say no more - great hide. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

4th DNF of the day - perhaps the jet lag is setting in badly, but couldn't relate the hint, the description of the cache container and the reality of the location. Anyhow, it was still a fine location for a cache. While I've not come across The Skyhooks before, Melbourne is well represented in my record collection by The Birthday Party. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

3rd cache of a day exploring Melbourne - GPS still all over the place, but managed to find this one straight away. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

11th cache of a day exploring Melbourne on a rental bike - took the long route from Point 2.5 along the sea front to Beacon Cove then to Clarendon Street bridge, but really enjoying the fantastic winter weather. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

12th cache of a day exploring Melbourne on a rental bike - quick find with the hint. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

Nice easy find at 7:40 am after flying in from the UK. Dropped off a TB that wants to explore the world. TFTC

7th cache of a day exploring Melbourne - after 3 DNFs in the city it was a welcome change to hire a bike and head out to find this one. Greetings from Nottingham, England. TFTC

19-Jan-11
Quick find using the hint, and a spectacular location for a night find on the way home from Basingstoke before diving into the tube. Took TB. TFTC

10-Dec-10
Stopped by today for a TB/coin swap

17-Nov-10
Easy find and easy to be stealthy in the dark. Huge, convenient and well stocked cache. I'm sure I'll drop by here again. 1x GC on, 2x TB out. TFTC

18-Dec-09
Nice easy cache on the way home from visiting the One New Change development. Picked up a coin, but can't log it out as it hasn't been logged in yet
